The Funny Gate To The Forest

In the darkness of the night, I found light,
Illuminated shining so bright.
Something unknown, unseen by thee,

Jay Olivine is Ziggy Stardust’s fourth favourite lyricist in Northeast Brisbane. 

He is a hitless wonder who scratches out demos in a dark booth beneath his kitchen. 

Sometimes he adds distortion to cover the snores of his dog. Sometimes he gets away with an acoustic number. 

His dream (not his dog’s dream) would be to license his lyrics to someone who would take them somewhere beautiful. He keeps dreaming. 

Olivine is a common green rock. Jay Olivine is not.

Bard, storyteller, song maker, star walker and author of books on the sacred mysteries.

All the lyrics of my songs are written by me. I put them to music with A.I. and then I spin up the whole lot in the Magimix with samples and loops. I can't sing for toffee, so if you fall in love with a singer on one my tracks, it's likely to be a robot!  Just sayin'...😎
