i moved to LA in 2022. i was the only girl who was walking an hour from Culver City to West Hollywood to get coffee with my idol Carol Ades. We went to Dialog Cafe. She drank a tea and her eyes shined like malachite. Perhaps I burned her with a story about a boy I met on tinder who was moving to San Francisco but I thought I was in love with from one awkward date. We saw Elvis in a creepy theatre and then got recruited into a Scientology building. This song is about that date and stuff! I ate an açaí bowl in front of her and on my walk home realized it was all in my teeth.
