'Peace of Mind' was written as a lamenting song to share the pain of grief, trauma and loss, the anguish of conflict and spiritual disconnection that follow such loss, and finally the healing power of love that we all crave and require to overcome this pain and to thrive once again. The haunting vocal harmonies give sound to the voices that are no longer here and a depth of feeling which may resonate with those who have experienced trauma or conflict in relationships and/or extraordinary loss.

'Winter Blues' expresses playful sounds, a jazzy swing tempo and latin feel combined with phat beats and a 90's trip-hop vibe. A new take on an old style, written with lyrics that speak of longing for a faraway land and faraway lover and the loneliness of the bitter, cold, Canadian winter.
