Transcendental Breathwork Journey Soundtrack by GALEXiCA from THE SPACE, Cabarete DR! 

The Intention for this Breathwork Journey is to share with you a reminder to 'Stay Humble', a powerful lesson I was taught by life many times. On the path of putting myself out there, progressing forward through my personal growing and healing journey, successfully stepping into my true self and power, I notice a lot of opportunities in which it's easy for the true way to become blurred. Times in which I tend to ignore the guidance from spirit and signs in my surroundings. Times in which I don't trust my intuition and the voice of my heart. Opportunities for my Ego trying to take the lead and fall back into outdated believes, fear and scarcity mindset. 

Inevitably though, I'm ONLY Human and like any other I will never be able to rid myself of my Ego. The Ego is our friend, the part of us that helps us to survive. What we can do is to observe it with discernment and make conscious choices to control it instead of it controlling us. 

When the Ego is triggered the breath is the pathway to ground into safety and in the same time connect us to the higher aspects of ourself. A steady flow of the breath through the body brings us into alignment with the truth in our heart and the confidence to trust in moments when life pulls on us, feel unsafe or "logically/intellectually' things don't sense. 

Staying Humble to me means to be fully embodied (HUMan)and bow to the higher forces (Universe, Mother Earth and her Elements, Life itself) that will support me if I honor the messages, signs and synchronicities. The moment I don't, life will challenge me and sometimes literally "humiliate me" in order to bring me back to my humility. Yes, we are creator beings, yet never forget we are only servants of the divine for the higher good of all. Stay Humble, while being the highest version of yourself!!!

STAY HUMBLE * Breathwork Journey

The debut single of #BASSBLISS from Keena Maya. 

The track opens onto a percolating nocturnal world where the scene is set for sound magic.

A whisper of a breath calls forth a languid yet funky groove, driven by a subterranean bass, and sparkled by fairy dust. A break is reached and the pause opens up the magic further. Evolving from the ancestral realm, the theme now expands into an organic vision of future bass. Chord stabs amplify the crystalline elegance and give it an earthy charge.

Finally returning home, the scene is transformed, and the night echoes with the resonance of a deeper calling.

The current global situation will have a strong impact on life in the coming months, it's not an easy time but i feel positive changes will come.

On my side, with no possibility to go out and play concerts it's time to focus on music practice and creation.
From this week I'll release an ambient track once a week, until the situation is fixed.

This first chapter includes two instruments: flute and guitar.

I hope this music brings light to all who listen to it, that's how it is for me.

Debut single ' A Deeper Calling ' is OUT ! 

The depths of Keena Maya's sound are incantations, drawing us down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, and invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise. She is a sound artist, DJ, producer, and instrumentalist. Her global #BASSBLISS sets revel in the low-end, an organic electronic transmission for heart expansion via the dance floor.  
 
She is one-half of  @being-sound - with her partner @Joro-Boro. Together they perform live #RitualBass.  She is a member of @BAEsound , a feminine powered mindful music collective, a resident of @ecstaticdancenyc, and a contributor to the global Ecstatic Dance community.  

Keena Maya is from Brooklyn and now resides in Hudson, New York, She has performed at  venues like House of Yes,  Knockdown Center, The Sultan Room, The Good Room, Judson Memorial Church, Basilica, PS21, and festivals like Dance Beyond Campout, Dance Medicine Campout, and Impulse Festival.
 
In 2024, we can expect Keena Maya to release her debut EP of #BASSBLSS.
