Following a brief quiet spell prior to 2021, Dread Or Dead Records have really come back with a bang this year and have since presented state of the art releases from Ninety and Duckem that I've still got in rotation to this day. For their next instalment, the label welcomes back long standing H&B favourite, B-Say, to the label with three of his more emblematic productions and a killer remix courtesy of Lampa! After a short stint of bright and bold dub influenced productions on the likes of Dirty Beats earlier this year, B-Say's back to his dark side and for me, his strongest side, as demonstrated on today's premiere, 'Sabotage'.

Label founders Tik&Borrow are back for their first EP of 2021 on In:flux Audio, coming in heavy with two original tracks for their latest EP 'Erebus & Terror'. The duo have been honing their intricate dubstep stylings since their last solo outing on the label in May 2020, and on the way to this EP they've had releases on Dirty Beats, Simply Deep, SND SYSTM CLTR and Frozen Plates to name a few. This EP sees them return to the heavier side of their sound, but maintaining the progressions seen through the past year, to create something that is fresh and forward thinking.

On remixes, label newby Qwirk tackles 'Erebus', taking the original and turning it into a breaks-dubstep hybrid that had us spinning in our chair upon it landing in our inbox. Dystinkt follows suit in the blending of styles, taking a more funky-dubstep approach to his remix of 'Terror', brining us a track that has groove for days and will get any dancefloor vibing.

Tik&Borrow - Erebus

As a label that continues to support a thriving scene throughout the west coast of the United States, For The Heads Records have delivered some impeccable releases since it's inception in 2019. With collaborative EPs from Mrshl & Subtle Mind in the books, plus the mighty Conzi with 'Chant' EP earlier this year, FTH certainly know how to put together a solid record by now! However, their keen ears are truly put to the test when curating their esteemed compilation series that reaches it's fourth edition this week. This latest compilation is a comprehensive celebration for all things fresh within dubstep right now, full of talent that continues to knock it out of the park upon each creation! And amongst thirteen brand new original productions is today's premiere, 'Don't Touch' by Crowley, one of the many notable producers to have emerged out of Belgium's flourishing scene.
