We’re very happy to present a fresh podcast by Einox. Having pushed his works via labels as Subosc Records, Circular Limited and Oslated, the Seoul-based producer spreads a singular sound with which he repeatedly confirms he knows his way around the studio.

For this particular occasion, he’s made efforts to record a set in which he coordinates us through some of his live arrangements. From the offset, a certain distribution of width and depth is felt in the mix that pulls you right through. Rhythms both straight and broken come and go as a continuous layer of warm hypnotics evolves and stimulates. Enjoy the mix and definitely take a listen to Einox’s previous work afterwards.

Our next guest is a one of the founders of @thecodecast. A well crafted music selector his vision of techno is a bit ritualistic, but aims to generate dark yet groovy and impactful atmospheres, using hypnotic sounds to impact the mind and percussion and grooves that impact the body as well. This submission highlights those combinations as a resents a balance of lightness with dark tones to create a beautiful atmosphere of emotions. It’s through the moves that punctuated his childhood that Mown developed his knowledge of music and his tastes: metal in the north, zouk, classical music and all kinds of pop in the larger cities of the south of France. Coming of age, he discovers electronic music through artists like Autechre, Björk or Daft Punk. A passionate and lightly asocial character, he spends large parts of his student life learning how to mix and produce. Following several trips to Berlin, he chooses a path of self-exile to the German capital and draws his budding inspiration in the nordic aesthetic of the old Soviet buildings and the city’s never ending winters. He continues to explore the hypnotic and introspective sides of his techno. Mown has been compulsively collecting records that he serves out in daring, intense and genre-spanning sets: from ambient to electro and from acid to dub-techno.

Emika Elena is a Berlin based DJ/producer and founder of @emikaelenahml.

Music has always been a huge part of her life, ever since she started playing piano in her family home at the age of 4, but it was the discovery of techno in her early teens that led her to become a DJ.
Her trademark sound is often described as "hypnotic darkness" which intersects expressions of ambient, experimental, and techno in her mixes.

She is breaking out of standards and creating a new feeling of deepness and true creativity. You can hear her authenticity carrying you to the spheres of your inner soul.
