As every stories in any book, technically as every song have a climax, it all points that way, well, eventually, all of them, with some little exceptions of course. But every mountains you climb have a peak right? Otherwise why are you climbing it? Where are you going? Every meal have a sweet fatty desert, it is very important to have desert to look forward to, to work your way trough out the main course and those boring healthy appetizers, for the Christian mind every horrific punishments have its rewards, most of it, rewards can't provide bliss without agonizing pain, every hell or purgatory have a lake of blissful heaven at the end of every walking trail, every pain hustling have its exciting rigor finale, every dreadful working years, in reality, all ends with a powerful punch high dosages of Christmases red pin marks on their calendars and those blurry New Year parties too many to remember, then humans start over again to work. There is no sex without agonizing pain for the receiver, as for the pain-giver well what in the hell he be thinking in the process of anger for those forceful penetrations and series of intellectual masturbations? As every human sex, or animal, usually have orgasms, technically. Gustav Manfried is an anthropologist, sociologist, and a zoologist who studies the ecological differences of men to women and how their anatomy psychologically function and were built through thousand years to make up Earth's ecological dynamics. His 'main theory'... everything man knows is what only women told them since the Neolithic times when the hunting/scavenging versions of humans start to build roofs over their head and settle down as groups and built fences in their properties. Man is created to move forward to chase those little, and big, pops of climaxes that provides them serotonin for them to adapt and not perish and become a woman, case in point, created to loose every battle and take in everyone in their womb for recycling, what never worked out this time can work out tomorrow, maybe not me, maybe not Gustav Manfried but possibly someone else not born yet will solve this puzzle. A concave and a covex looking glass perpetually chasing each other for answers by outwitting each other and make the other doubt their mojo, and making the other submit  to its unquestionable sole leadership and wisdom and gain authority and power. Manfried is perplexed, as the species of men is mostly empowered by believing in the evolution of gods, magic, bedtime stories, karma and reincarnation, leading women's argument is everything can be explained by logistics and science where they have built a psychological fortress playground where men can move around with their imagination and make something out of thin air... from caves with their stone axes to the man-made mountain skyscrapers and modern statues we have today.

A few years ago I did a remix of a track by Dominik Eulberg called Sansula, which featured an instrument of the same name. After the release a builder of sansula instruments in the Netherlands was kind enough to give me one as a present in case I wanted to use one again in a live recording, which I have finally got around to doing now with this track!

My process consisted of me sitting in my studio (badly) playing the thumb plucked sansula for quite a while, so that I could go back to the recording and pull out some useable loops as a starting point. I wanted a nice warm analogue chord progression to complement, but more in the high bass and low mids than my usual chord progression that's down really low, to fill the mix with the warmth as much as possible.

The track still needed something though, so I turned to some spare recordings of my favourite vocalist - Kathrin deBoer, from some of our previous recording sessions. I didn't want to go for the usual full lyrical approach of a vocal collab track, I just wanted to add some small snippets of human feeling to round off the track properly.

The release is coming out on Fields on the 1st of December along with an intense synth experiment with a Prophet 08, and beautiful remixes from David August and Throwing Snow.
