hannie phi, who now lives in berlin, grew up musically around leipzig and shows in our 39th podcast edition an eclectic variety of house music as well as her own interpretation of it. from a dreamy melancholy through fine organic sounds and breaks to an energetic club sound, she combines various influences from deep, trance, dub and the 90s and never loses her groovy, driving line.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

"For this mix I wanted to do something very introspective and calm. It’s made up of mainly ambient, beat-less tracks pieced together with recent field recordings I’ve taken out and about. It feels like 1 long track to me, rather than a collection of tracks played one after the other. Invia aka Martin has been mixing records for round about 20 years, originally from Thuringia and has been living in Berlin for many years. Since Julius aka Sova moved into the Palais Palett / Objekt klein a cultural ‚WG‘, he‘s deepened the musical identity of the place by several deptitudes with his stylistic confidence and musical sensitivity. That is also what defines this mix, a continues stream of on point drums and groovy baselines ending in jazzed out house bliss. Is it 7am or 7pm, the sun rising or setting? No one knows, no one cares. And as you sip from your Beauty-Sekt and tap your feet onto the wooden palettes, gazing over the top of your lowered sunglasses, you say to your friends „mhh yeah this is nice“.

Seit Julius aka Sova in die Palais Palett / Objekt klein a Kultur-WG eingezogen ist, vertieft er die musikalische Identität des Ortes mit Stilsicherheit und musikalischem Feingefühl um einige Deepness-Grade.
