Formed in 2008, Kid Mud was Sean Duncan, an indie rock vet formerly of Fiver, but with time, Kid Mud has seemingly morphed beyond "one man band" status into something larger than the sum of its parts. He has recruited friends Steve Brooks, Mike Reavill, Nick Ruiz, and Mike Watkins for new input to allow Kid Mud's creative sound to mature. With five diverse musicians from varying tastes and backgrounds, they come together to compile a sound of their own. Unlike earlier Kid Mud (recorded and live) the sound has taken on a new beast of delivering a full, rich sound while maintaining compelling dynamics. Kid Mud's sound brings both the soft and loud like some more well known bands, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead and Built to Spill.

I moved to the east coast eight years ago and experienced the most pivotal years of my life. There is something about this rugged, unforgiving place and direct and honest culture that leaves a person feeling exposed. I like to think of my music as simple and from a place of vulnerability and courage. Thank you for taking the time to listen and stay in touch.

BIOGRAPHY:
Crying Steel born in Bologna in the spring of 1982 from the ashes of the Hard Rock "Wurdalak". The founding members are Alberto Simonini (Guitar) and Angelo Franchini (electric bass), to which were added Luca Bonzagni (vocals), and in 1983, after several changes of line-up, Luca Ferri (drums) and Franco Nipoti (guitar) After their first demo, which already contains Thundergods and Agony, songs by the group later proposed again, unnoticed by Beppe Riva Rockerilla that puts them in the compilation HM Eruption. In 1984 a new demo is ready, which paves the way for the next EP Crying Steel in 1985, a true rarity in the music industry. For two years after the group intensifies the live playing all over Italy: in particular, to quote the show all '"Heavy Metal Festival" in Bologna in June 1986 with Motorhead and Twisted Sister.Nell '85 also released another demo, of only three tracks, followed by the 86 demo, real promo of their debut album On the Prowl, 1987. Album definitely revolutionary, at least for the Italian New Wave Of Heavy Metal (NWOIHM), as it is the first to be recorded even on CD In September 1988 a new line-up change, Simonini e Bonzagni leave the group and are replaced by Michele Vanni and Lisa Bisognin. In March 1990 Michele Vanni also lets be replaced by Francesco Di Nicola, and in July of that year the band performs a few dates in Russia see as a singer in the line-up Massimiliano Merlini. Followed in 1994 and 2003, some who see the reunion Crying Steel perform in classical training (Simonini / Nipoti / Bonzagni / Franchini / Ferri). In 2006, they are recruited by Italian label My graveyards Production and begin recording the new album, The Steel Is Back for release in 2007. Shortly after the release Simonini drastically decides to leave the group, so much so that it does not take the participate to the Release Party, where they assist you Crying Steel by Max Magagni. after abandonment by Luce Bonzagni, due to differences with the rest of the band, November 30, 2009 Franco Nipoti and Crying Steel announced that they have a new singer in the person of Stefano Palmonari.After a several concerts, including participation in the British Fest, in October 2012 Crying Steel entered the studio to record the new album. In April 2013 Time Stands Steel comes out, again for MyGraveYard Production. In June 2013 Crying Steel announced her separation from Vocalist Stefano Palmonari, Ramon Sonato is immediately recruited as the New Singer.During the concert in Casalecchio di Reno February 28, 2014, it annunced the new guitarist, Luigi Frati replaced Max Magagni leaving due to increasing work commitments.With this line-up the band intensifies the live activity and in the spring of 2014, after a long selection, arrives, winning the final National WOA Metal Battle. The July 30, 2014 he performed at Wacken in the contest at the Festival. The Crying Steel in recent years have performed with bands such as: Twited Sister, Motorhead, Grim Reaper, Demon, Diamon Head, Girlschool, Angel Witch, Gotthard, Praying Mantis, Raven, Satan, Killer, Razor and more...
