About us.
Phony Diamond is a spontaneous project of I.G.L and kiiroy which has its roots in an experimental studio session. Music itself is our main intention. Everyone can relate to the feeling that you get, standing in the middle of a crowd at a festival, listening to your absolute favourite track. We want to export that feeling we have hearing special music to the electronic music world outside. That was our main focus and intention when we started our project.

Renato Weiss criou sua base na música eletrônica através do circuito underground carioca. Mas o interesse pela música sempre esteve presente em sua vida. Aos 8 anos tornou-se integrante de um grupo adulto de Cool Jazz e Blues Instrumental no sul do país, tocando contra-baixo e harmônica. Fato que justifica a sua paixão pelas baixas freqüências dos Graves.
Participante ativo da cena eletrônica carioca, iniciou a carreira como DJ em 2007, porém sua intensa pesquisa musical já se fazia presente alguns anos antes.
Weiss tem estilo musical que oscila entre house e techno, sempre contendo o fundamento deep. Seus sets propõe à pista variações da musicalidade  - "Não basta a música ser bem produzida, ela tem que provocar alguma sensação a quem a escuta". Uma característica marcante no seu som é a seleção de músicas com linhas de baixo expressivas e repertório baseado em seu conhecimento e referência musical.
Já tocou ao lado de grandes nomes como Loco Dice (Desolat - Alemanha), Luciano (Cadenza - Suiça), Maurício Lopes, Gustavo Tatá, Renato Ratier, Léo Janeiro, João Paulo, Flow &amp; Zeo, Diogo Reis e outros.

Hailing from sunny Tenerife, he started off his career in the underground electronic world as a resident DJ and promoter, before catching the ears of influential clubs around Europe and being invited to take charge of the decks at the likes of fabric London, Goa Madrid and Chalet Berlin.



A highly promising talent, in 2013 Hanfry was nominated ‘Best Spanish Artist’ and ‘Best Deep House DJ’ by the industry-respected Vicious Magazine. And with a string of quality EPs like ‘Distraction Way’ and ‘Hasta Luego’ on Terence:Terry:’s La Vie En Rose, or ‘Vamos Mi Niño’ with Javier Carballo  on One Records, it’s not hard to understand why. Having also released and remixed on Get Physical, Nordik Net, Esperanza, La Drumma, 1trax Readymade and Hot Creations, look out for his joint production alias with Justin Harris as House Of Warez, debuting on underground cult imprint ( djebali ) presents.



In 2010 he started Overall Music with close friend and fellow Canarian Javier Carballo. Quite simply, Hanfry explains the aim is to “create an original and innovative sound that stays true to our influences”. Standout EPs include ‘Nothing Written’ and ‘Off Days’ from the label bosses, while the calibre of guest artists includes Livio & Roby to Maya Jane Coles, Subb-An, Guti, Djebali, Jef K, Adam Shelton and John Dimas.



Continuing to bring the best in underground music to Tenerife with his new residency party BEEPER, we can expect to see much more of Hanfry Martinez internationally with his rapidly escalating profile around Europe’s House hotspots.
