After Hjärta 2013 released the song När Du Går Åt it has now been remixed by blind/engvall. The end result is a lovely swaying, almost tropical song that still speaks of hopelessness. It’s the soundtrack to the summer that never came. Or, came too late. A night by the beach at dusk, where sound softly travels over the clucking sea. A gentle touch on your arm. A blanket that comforts you when the nights cold chases the sun under the horizon.

The, to date, most dancey of Hjärta’s songs now get the most jungley of remixes. Though, it’s not just jungle, it’s also a taste of the Orient with a trip through the Russian countryside. When Jonathan Solo get’s to sink his teeth into Borde Vara Jag (Ought To Be Me) you get high and low, you don’t know what will reveal itself after the next note, and that’s just the way he likes it. The result is, mildly spoken, an eclectic creation which works just as well on the dancefloor as on the couch.

Late in the spring of 2015 Daniella, together with 047, released the single Follow Me Home. Synthpop, Electropop or just Pop that got everyone dancing. Now, we’ve reached Autumn, or Fall, and Daniella is releasing her own version of the song - Follow Me Home (Stripped). Peeled down to its core Daniella shows us both the songs and her heart. Its vocals, electric guitar and echo. Sometimes it does not have to be more complicated than that.

This song sounds amazing! That’s really all we at Killing Music want to say about it. But, that’s not very informative. With this song Lars Kristofer  channels his inner Swedish 80’s pop icon to move forward and save, or end, a relationship. Snackas Om Det [Eng. It’s Talked About] is as classic Swedish guitar pop as you’ll get while at the same time being brand new. It’s mastering the difficulty of simple expressions, both musically and lyrically. And, like we said, it sounds amazing!

In the world of depicted art, this song, Thoughts Of Jacons Vilddjuret [Eng. The Beast] would be called a triptych, a work of art made up of three parts. An ever changing story that both demands and rewards. After earlier releases Thoughts of Jacon, or Jacob Öhrvall, takes us on a varied trip, to say the least. We fly high, or perhaps we’re diving deep in a cave with fantasy animals. It’s hard to tell. We’re taken to a car-scene in a 70’s movie. Sunset, warmth, light breeze. Fade to black. The credits roll on as a shining that everything is different. Maybe we’re wrong?

We’re floating in an hot air balloon. Or, we’re sailing on a boat. Or, we’re in that car again, high flying, deep diving in a cave with fantasy animals. And, maybe we’re wrong? Again.
