25 year old singer/songwriter and London based River first came onto the music scene back in 2015 with her debut feature on the well known French fashion label ‘Kitsune Musique’ with fellow Perfect Havoc Swede ‘Tobtok’ titled ‘Savanna’ which has received over 1 million streams on Spotify since.  

This was then followed by a string of features on different labels with the likes of The Shapeshifters (Defected), Cesare (Kitsune), GRMM (Neon Records), Keljet (Universal Music Netherlands), Televisor (Armada Music) Arno Cost (Protocol Recordings), Oliver Nelson (Perfect Havoc), Ghassemi (Toolroom) and more. 

River then featured again with Tobtok and his version of Tracy Chapman’s well-known track ‘Fast Car’ which has since gone Platinum in Australia and had over 25 million streams on Spotify. The catchy nu-disco summer time track charted in multiple countries including Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Australia and was supported by the likes of The New York Times, Capital FM, Kiss FM, Triple J, CBS TV, Billboard and more. River ended 2016 with over 32 million streams to her name along with a string of Spotify support such as New Music Friday USA, New Music Friday Australia, New Music Friday Netherlands, Fresh Finds along with performances at Village Underground for Kitsune and the sold out Brixton Jamm at Perfect Havoc Disco. 

2017 brings an exciting year for River, where she will be releasing her own original music for the very first time. ‘Remember Me’ is the debut track released on Hoxton based label ‘Perfect Havoc’ on February 17th with support already incoming from Blonde, CloudKid, The French Shuffle, Hearing Gold, Topsify, Apple Music's A:List Electronic playlist and Saturday Night Kiss on Kiss FM.

In the last Fifteen years  that British-born producer, promoter and DJ Gav Whitehouse has called Melbourne home, he has become a driving force in shaping the city’s infamous electronic music scene, with his adopted home as is his inspiration and muse.
Getting his hands on his first pair of turntables in the late 90s in the north of England, like most fledgling DJs, Gav first cut his teeth on harder styles. Always ready to go one better, DJing alone was not enough. His first ever event, Rotation which he ran for 4 years would eventually become the official afterparty for hard dance juggernaut Goodgreef in Preston. He later packed up and imported the event, alon in Australia in 2008, where his love affair with house and techno truly blossomed. Always pushing boundaries, it didn’t take him long to break into the close-knit scene. He commandeered One Six Ones’s notorious rooftop for three years with his Digital Sunset soirees of House with live vocalists. Always a pioneer, he even brought UK Garage legend DJ EZ over for a one-off gig back in 2015. With bold ideas and eclectic sets, the boy from the north of England quickly made a name for himself with weekly gigs at Melbourne’s best clubs including Circus, New Guernica and running his own event Frequency at Revolver for 3 years. 

Gav has also become a regular on the Victorian festival circuit, warming up for Audio Jack at Maitreya, Playing the Killing Team/Eat the Beat stage at Babylon and the Mono Loco stage at Rainbow Serpent. He also added Carl Cox’s Pure festival to his impressive repertoire back in 2021 and 2023.

Gav’s weekly residency for elite House and Techno crew Eat the Beat at New Guernica has recently seen him signed as a full-time artist, catapulting an already illustrious career into even more gigs across Australia and overseas. Supporting acts such as the Martinez Brothers, Paco Osuna, Alan Fitzpatrick , Whebba , Luigi Madonna and Adreas Campo he’s also played alongside the Balearic best at Café Del Mar in Ibiza. 

Ten epic years as a producer have seen Gav’s tracks signed to labels such as Shodan Records ,Roush, Catwash , King Street Sounds of New York and 303 Lovers. His distinctive, dancefloor-ready cuts stem from House to Techno always experimenting with different drum patterns on the Roland tr8s and various hardware and software synths. A combination of technical skill underpinned with passion is the winning formula for Gav.

The dancefloor is the driving force for everything he does, whose art thrives in the deep roots of Melbourne’s collaborative scene, a city he believes shines brighter because of its popular musical diversity. Over the last year Gav has reunited with Brian Smith an old friend from the UK who got him started in the scene back in the late 90s and who influenced Gav buying Brian's technic turntables. They have now created a duo "STATE-2" and have forthcoming tracks signed with Renesanz ,Red Channel, Prospect and Bush Records ready to be released from April this year. In 2024 he plans to raise the bar playing with Eat the Beat at events planned in Fiji, Bali and Amsterdam for ADE festival.

Flug, as his name suggests, allows his audience to take a trip back to their roots, back to their inner self and what it is to really feel techno. In venues such as, Space Ibiza, Arena Club Berlin, Rex Paris, Moog Barcelona, Hyte Amsterdam, and MAYDAY, Dortmund to name a few, the Argentinian´s definition of techno has been clearly demonstrated not only through his DJ sets that are as devastating as they are uplifting with his serious kick drums, use of hi-hats and reverberating basslines, but also through driving his own organically produced techno forward with an EP released on CLR - 'Sincrodestino', and remixes for SOMA - Slam Reverse Proceed Remixes, only to scratch the surface, cutting his industrially chizzled sound with melodical rythms both elegant and almost eloquent in nature.

His music is now recognised and played worldwide having artists such as, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Len Faki, Dave Clark, Ben Sims, Speedy J, DVS1, Pfirter, Oscar Mulero, among many others, as supporters of his work.

Flug´s unrivaled and brutal self-discipline in the studio, his humbleness in approach, his fierce passion for and overall dedication to the cause, as well as having grown up living and breathing electronic music, have given Flug, real name Sebastian, a long and welcoming insight into what it really means to be a DJ and producer in today's techno world, which in his opinion, means keeping it real.

Having a solid carrer in what he truly loves, Flug now plans to start his own record label early next year with his new album 'The Man Behind the Artist', already in the pipeline to be edited and released on one of Berlin's record labels, Enemy at the end of 2015. The album, when finished, will be by far his most personal and reflective piece of work, as it is, in his words, "statement of freedom".
