Decka makes music that journeys through bare-bones techno, crafting hypnotic polyrhythmic patterns that look both to a tough, hypnotic sound and a sub-low pressure rooted in his home city, Bristol. Decka’s Unterwegs imprint that he runs with The Lady Machine translates to ‘on the move’ correlating with the label's vision to expand upon the idea that music is forever changing, evolving into new territories.

We are super excited to present the 81st podcast featuring an hour of full-throttle grooves from Mikrotakt!

Sacha Treasure aka Mikrotakt is a London native who grew up in the deep forest of Sweden - This raw groove dealer has already released on the likes of Cantical Records, Catalog 01366, Trau-ma and the aforementioned DifferentSound. With more big releases planned for the rest of the year, there's no sign of slowing down.

From the age of 14 Sacha has been learning his way around DAWs and electronic music, experimenting with old school hip hop. Coming from a very musical background his family encouraged creativity - Learning many instruments throughout his childhood from violin to piano.

Sacha later fell in love with the underground rave scene and the sound of Techno. Since then he has gotten involved where he can and developed his sound.

Mikrotakt can be identified as raw, percussive and groovy. His hybrid sets deliver pounding rhythms full of energy.

As usual, turn up the volume and enjoy the mix!

22 year old Sam Jeffery is an artist whose focus is on what’s real in techno. Sci-fi synths and highly focused drums. Inspired by his idols on techno such as DVS1 but with roots in Chicago house. The only way to describe Sam’s taste would be “real”.

An hour of wild synths, ethereal bleeps and distant textures enjoy this display of taste and mixing skills.

Ka.za is a true techno newbie who fell in love with rave music barely two years ago. Since then, she has been exploring different styles, from deep hypnotic techno and edgy raw industrial sounds to hard techno. Nowadays, she is mainly drawn to minimalist beats and fast-paced rhythm. Together with Eva Falt and DJ Slater, she co-founded the Weltraum collective.

In this podcast, she decided to create a path starting with more hypnotic and deep vibes, all the way up to groovy and fast paced tempo. As a part of this journey, she was exploring both industrial and organic sounds to create mesmerizing soundscapes that should make you longing those late summer open air raves we all cherish that much.

En una época de artistas techno que han surgido de las modas pasajeras, aún existen verdaderos profetas del sonido más purista de este estilo musical. Este es el caso de R0w3n, un creyente sin fisuras de una actitud y de una filosofía que apuesta por un sonido vanguardista que respetan los principios y las raíces del TECHNO con mayúsculas.

R0w3n creció escuchando referentes como Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, hasta que descubrió la electrónica más underground y comenzó a escuchar música de artistas más complejos. Aunque en su León natal este tipo de sonido era marginal, R0w3n se abrazó a él para empaparse de su filosofía, asistiendo a todas las salas que programaban aquel estilo musical. En una de esas fiestas cayó rendido ante el sonido de un artista que desconocía por entonces, James Ruskin sirvió de catalizador para una pasión que perdura hasta nuestros días.

A partir de entonces comenzó a consumir compulsivamente los trabajos de artistas como Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Loktibrada, Christian Wünsch, Exium y Jeff Mills. Su primera experiencia en directo detrás de una mesa de mezclas fue en un pueblecito de León en una alocada rave que terminó clausurada por la Guardia Civil, en mitad de unas bodegas pinchando a vinilo.

Desde entonces ha sido protagonista en las cabinas de Studio 54 (León), Sala Perfil Club (Astorga), La Vaca (Ponferrada),  Caño Malasaña (León) Platform 7 (Valladolid), Dance Guerrilla by Phase.Ctv (Madrid) y algunas raves de las que guarda un gran recuerdo.

Su estilo puede definirse como Techno sin ninguna añadidura, intuitivo y metódico en su faceta de productor. Cuando pincha desconecta totalmente del mundo real, con una conexión mental y cercana con el público. Sus planes para el futuro seguir aprendiendo y disfrutando al máximo cada día.
