For those that don't know. Shock C is a very popular dj &amp; mc in the Midlands ,UK . His name started to be very well known when he became a resident dj &amp; mc at The Eclipse in Coventry uk,and Amnesia House est1988, and then started playing all over the country within years to come and has performed alongside some of the best in the business.
He was also known for managing the Don Christies record basement in Birmingham from 1992-1996, providing the punters with some of he finest cuts ,As well as building his own collection , his “Jungle pressure” radio show on Birmingham based Choice fm (now known as capital fm) is also where he brought his sound to the masses each weekend,This was one of the first pioneering 'jungle' shows  broadcast from a Legal station in The 2nd city.

At the end of the 90's he took a break from DJing , but after a lengthy break he's returned back, having performed and pleased many people at Flashback, fantazia, Shelleys reunions,  dreamscape, Starlight, Raindance, Retro-trax oldskool festival , Boomtown festival , Amnesia House  Raveology &raiders of the oldskool  just to name a few...Shock C follows his heart ,and continues to spread the oldskool sound..

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.
