Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Nice Guise' gem on 'ESITU Records'.
In the uninspiring corners of open-space offices, and administrative work, some employees find a space for resistance and creativity through subversion and sabotage, against the anger generated by the neutral and cruel absurdity of the corporate environment.

In this compilation, Nice Guise engages with transpersonal subjects such as mental health, frustration, work place abuse and sexuality. For the past two years, while touring through Brussels with their abrupt live performance, Nice Guise has been fostering collective experiences where repressed personal emotions get to be shared on the dancefloor.

Nice Guise crystallizes their ongoing activity with the collection Candid shots. 
Like an aggregate in the orbs of the post-punk movement and the remnants of the Dada avant-garde, the band presents studio sessions, concert recordings, and sonic residues on the same level, thus making poor material their inspiration.

Jan Nowak IEM aka KONTAKT TECHNO is live act performer from Katowice, who creates music in the industrial techno vibe. The artist prepares samples by himself and currently focuses on dirty and metallic sounds. In his live acts he uses a sampler and synthesizers.
Jan Nowak IEM played at clubs such as Sixa in Katowice, STK 47 in Kraków, Wyspa Tamka in Wrocław and Sphinx 700 in Sopot. In addition, he has made several performances during cultural events. He also sounded awarded performances of Silesian theater groups. The artist publishes records in the Spanish label Osler Records.

Heather Helix is a Poznań based DJ with background in classical music. Her adventure started after winning mix contest organized by Oramics collective in 2019. Since then, she regularly appears at local clubs, but she also played in Wrocław, Warsaw, Gdańsk and Kraków. Usually serves multi-genre sets containing techno, electro, trance and acid. Her record collection is dominated by arpeggiators, Roland TB-303, as well as processed vocals and melodic leads.

Ant0n is a Wrocław-based DJ, producer, promoter and acoustician.
He started his career a few years ago and quickly won the heart of the local scene for his original style and musical taste. You could meet him playing on rooftops and after parties of all kinds. He was part of the Transformator club in Wrocław, from its beginnings.
As he writes about himself: "my sets are primarily strong and energetic, within the doctrine: I play what I would like to dance to myself." He can find himself in any genre around techno - from milder, deeper sounds at 125 BPM - to strong and broken beats, increasing both in tempo and in melody. He tries to combine and mix several tracks at the same time. His sets are very often also an interesting performance.

Mislaw is a techno producer and DJ with a passion for electronic sound that dates back to his youth. He started producing at the age of 16 and has since created a wide range of music, including tracks featured in movies, spectacles, and TV shows. Having graduated from a music school in the piano class, Mislaw brings a natural musicality to his productions, resulting in a sound that is both nuanced and captivating.

In 2024 he released his solo EP for renowned BCCO Berlin, and made appearances on labels such as Duplicity Edeinburgh or Ri7mo from Buenos Aires. His releases have been promoted by influential channels including Voxnox Berlin, Polish Technology, HATE, or Antidote Amsterdam, and his tracks have already appeared in spaces such as Berghain, Khidi, Tresor, Anomalie, or the renowned HÖR stream. 

Outside his home country, Mislaw has performed on stages in South Korea, Sweden, Germany, Italy and beyond, both as a solo artist and with electro-folk band 'Krzikopa’.

Additionally, he is a co-founder of the Wrocław-based record label and collective 'Całość'.

KXYXꓘ - His adventure with music began in his early childhood. Once a founder of a hardcore punk band and an organizer of rock events, he is now searching for ways to express himself as a live performer, producer, and DJ. 
His sets are stories filled with emotions and energy, representing a rebellious soul and an open mind to a wide spectrum of electronic music genres. In his selection and production, you can hear inspirations from many styles, and also pay special attention to the depth of rhythm and melody, constantly triggering a feedback of energy between the sound system and the audience.
Currently, he is focused on developing his skills as a live performer in the groove techno style, which reflects his inner experiences and is a way of expressing his emotions.

Statiqbloom is the brainchild of Fade Kainer. A project that began in 2014 in Brooklyn NYC, later becoming a duo with Denman C. Anderson (2016-2020). Fade was a member of the industrial doom band Batillus, noise synth dread project Theologian, and he has also worked with Jarboe (ex-Swans) and Attila Csihar (Mayhem, SunnO)))).

Currently based in Berlin, he is combining hardware and software in creating noisy modular-engineered industrial techno and building live sets by meshing heavy hard industrialised rhythms with unfolding blackened atmospheres and disorienting vocals.

Statiqbloom has released on Sonic Groove, Metropolis Records, Synthicide and Desire Records.
