ABOUT CHRYSTAL CHRIS:

Chrissy has always been an enthusiastic ‚groupie' of DJs who play music that touches her heart and soul. She has been full of admiration and fascination for their talents to tell musical stories that connect the party people and let them become one unity.  She dreamed of being a DJ herself one day but she never believed in it and was too scared to stand on stage and perform….Then, two years ago some great friends around her encouraged her to realize her dreams and so her own DJ story began…
With her sets and gigs she has found a medium to express her deepest feelings and share them with others. She loves deep, spheric and melancholic tunes. If you know Chrissy personally, you will know about her love for Max Cooper’s sound. She could talk about his versatile creations the whole day and has been influenced a lot by his compositions, live shows and DJ gigs.
As she loves traveling and changing her places of residence, she already has played in various countries like the UK, Ecuador, Egypt and her current residential country Germany. At the moment she is really excited about her first gig in Berlin!

This set is a present for her mother's birthday. It tells the story of Lucia who follows a mysterious dog to the beach on a full moon night....

He started taking the decks for pure musical reasons, and ended up loving it. Always curious for new sounds, especially for slower electronic beats from all around the globe, he is also open to any kind of musical influences and styles! He is part of the Mariechen Machts Crew, based in Köln as well, "a small collective of friends who organize friendly parties for friends and friends of friends! "

The Phyrigian Earth Mother Kybele was one such figure among many and represented the earth, mountains, caverns, and all nature, the birth of humanity, the universe and everything in it. 

Inspired by this timeless and universal vision, this project is dedicated to featuring and celebrating the bounty and beauty of the creative works of women in music through special podcasts, original releases, and mixtapes curated by women producers, DJs, and musicians of a wide range of genres from around the world. 

In addition to highlighting the works of women in music, Kybele develops opportunities for broader inclusion of and greater collaboration among emerging and established artists  of all backgrounds through the "Friends of Kybele" series.
