However this song Chlupatý kolena (Hairy knees) has long story. The very first draft of few chord and basic melody crossed my mind the day after the boss of the boss of my boss announced the company’s decision to value more the price of share over the value of people and therefore the company decided to turn upside down life of my 450 colleagues. Collective dismissal.
That time the song's working name was simply - Angry.

But… time flies. Few weeks later I found myself with coffee on sunny terrace in the middle of summer. Me and my Czech friend. Let’s call her my-YouTube-channel-subscriber-#007.

Me not in very good mood, her in short skirt and in similar mood. And with not well shaved legs/knees. And that, despite the view wasn’t very funny, made us laughing like hell… That moment I said myself “damn company and damn bosses”… On the end they do the same as me – trying to do their best for their bosses and trying to deserve their wage and their yearly bonuses.

And so the original idea got twisted from Angry to something inspired by that moment making me laughing.

It took me some time to find courage and try to record the singing. Until today I sang only as kind of self-defense and so far it worked veeeery well. Hope this one will not kill you...

He is a hitless wonder who scratches out demos in a dark booth beneath his kitchen. 

Sometimes he adds distortion to cover the snores of his dog. Sometimes he gets away with an acoustic number. 

His dream (not his dog’s dream) would be to license his lyrics to someone who would take them somewhere beautiful. He keeps dreaming. 

Olivine is a common green rock. Jay Olivine is not.

Formed in Greenwich, London, in 2023, Dead Hazards is an alternative rock band bringing thick, smoky, sometimes feverish guitar-driven tracks. Marrying the natural and the artificial, Dead Hazards has spun up sounds with elements from heavy metal, rock, and folk. 

Saline is Dead Hazards' upcoming debut LP releasing on April 20th and featuring 13 songs that hold sounds ranging from raw sludge to rock-operatic passages.

I am a solo recording artist who produces his own original music in Tweed Heads West, NSW, Australia.
 
My songs are released under the band name Retrospection. The joy and satisfaction I get from making music and sharing it, is my reward, although I do like to receive some recognition for my efforts!

Back in December 1963, after graduating from high school in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, I formed the rock band The Avengers in which I played lead guitar and sang backing vocals. We were semi-professional, playing any or all of the nights from Friday through to Sunday.

After two years I had to leave the band to take up a teaching career. Throughout my life I kept up (unpaid) entertainment as extra-curricular activities in the various schools in which I worked.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to give live performances because of health problems.

Welcome Coffee is a prog/rock alternative music project formed in Trieste (Italy) in 2012.
The basic idea of the project is to mix various musical sounds without identifying a particular genre, giving free rein to the attitude of the individual musicians.
In 2013 we released our first work “Box # 2“, a 5 track EP.
In 2015 we released our first LP called “UneVen“.
In 2017 we record a new Ep called “The Mirror Show” with a brand new lineup and sound. We also publish a video tribute to Twin Peaks called “Doppelgänger“.
In 2018 we publish the first official video clip called “The Mirror Show”.

Between the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 new material is composed for the next album between a live and another:
In June 2019 the recordings of the 11 tracks of the album begin.
Due to Covid-19 and lineup changes, in 2021 we finally finish the recordings of our second LP called “Light Years Away” which will be distributed and promoted by the indie label Overdub Recordings.
In July 2021 the first video clip of the single "Light Years Away" is released, which anticipates the release of the album.
In September, it is the turn of the second single "Ice in my Mouth".
The october 22th “Light Years Away” is available on all major digital platforms via Overdub Recordings.

Ladat, born Ladislav Tesar, is Litomerice (Czech republic) native, body and soul, who writes and composes his music in Chatel-St-Denis, Switzerland. Ladat is not a band in the true sense of the word, but rather a musical project that emerged in 2019 as an escape from reality, because things go better with music.

Ladat's musical odyssey defies conventional labels and freely blends elements of rock, folk, country, and jazz into a rich and genre-bending style that invites listeners to explore the diverse spectrum of influences that shape his emotional and diverse compositions.
As an experienced composer and lyricist, Ladat weaves stories that deeply resonate with audiences and offers a captivating and immersive musical experience, where each song is an expression of boundless passion, creativity, and an unapologetic celebration of musical diversity.

Since 2021, Ladat has been collaborating freely with the Slovenian A7 Recording Studio and musicians around guitarist and drummer Blaž Pavšič, such as Uroš Mohorič (guitar), Gregor Alič aka Hanson or Peter Beznec (bass), and singers Anton Premec, Kristina Jelić, Maja Štebih, Hana Pavšič or Oliver Neff aka Titanic Jack.

Joe and Barry met in 2003, near Portsmouth, when they both started studying a BTEC in music together. After completing the course in 2005, they remained good friends even when Joe moved back to Birmingham. Joined by a love of music and sport, using both as an excuse to meet up as much as possible. Over the years they have played music together on and off, whether it was local gigs in Birmingham or recording new music. Due to the distance, playing new music was difficult to do regularly. In 2019, they recorded a 4 track EP. It was released in March 2020 and gives an introduction to the current line up of Hope Street. 

Early into the Covid lockdown in 2020, Joe and Barry, now both armed with recording software, started sending demos to each other. They quickly realised that they had a collection of songs that they were happy with and started working towards recording the 11 track album Silence & Chaos, scheduled to be released in December 2020. Uploading the songs as they were individually finished to Soundcloud and Instagram and receiving mostly good comments from the online community, 

Hope Street are looking forward to the future and are already working towards their next project.
