The incredible harmonies and melodies that GIULIA (IT) gives us in this release, together with the voices, transport us to the past with a futuristic style, and we go to Athens with all that that implies. An impeccable release, where good taste stands out on all sides, and it was not to be expected less from this artist who has been making great strides.

Ramon Tapia returns to the label with a bang and this time it’s with a 2-tracker. Both tracks are totally different from one another but compliment each other brining the same power and signature sound inherent to the label boss 

First up is 'Strident' - a raw stripped down techno track that sends us instantly back to the 90’s. Rolling snares and a minimalistic approach gives the track an instant drive and in the combination with the strong and pulsating lead this track will put you on another level 

Second on the release is 'Bounce' - a funky track that will speak equally to techno and house heads. Playfully interpreted chords, vocal snippets and pushing hi-hats are carefully placed and give the track it’s distinctive groove

We are LAPS Recordings, a young, growing Techno Label from Germany! The name "LAPS" is an acronym containing the initials of our 4 founding members. At the same time it highlights the concept of time, which is a topic all our productions will revolve around! 

Coming from very different musical backgrounds, the core substance of our label sound revolves around dark, energetic and emotional melodies, forceful kickdrums and driving basslines. Those main topics reappear in all of our productions, but so do the individual tastes of all founding members.
