Mil Vens is a Belgian producer from Antwerp making waves in Deep Melodic- and Progressive House.

⛰️⛰️ Two Brothers: Modern 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Composers & Producers 🎹🎸🎻🎛️ 📍Highlands

Hand Pressed Keys: organic beats and melodies, raw vocals, sketchy recordings... potentially out of tune guitar and vocals at times.

Room Zero is a two-man production team (dormant since 2015, though not permanently we hope) comprising Marcs Fry and David Topple. It was formed with the intention of writing and recording melodic electronic music of no particular genre, though it was often 'dance-orientated'. David was also active in amateur and semi-professional film sound, with two films he edited and mixed - or recorded, edited and mixed - winning first place in a minor film festival in 2012 and 2015.

We collaborated with singers for anything not intentionally instrumental, and lyric writing was left to the singer, as a consequence of a belief that singers might perform better with lyrics they've written themselves. Our thanks to the 2 singers on the Soundcloud tracks: Sorrel Meechan (Forgettable / Someone Like You) and Becca Richardson (Nightfall in Winter / Strangers On Trains).

Following the first experiments in music co-production, we created various material (about 2 hours of it; most of it - even today - still to be edited and mixed). Its trademarks are interweaving parts, good tunes, and surprising changes of mood inspired by the trance breakdowns of that late-'90s genre's major artists. There's a certain complexity here that you don't get in most electronic music.

Please note: we never competed in the 'loudness war' (it must have ended now anyway?), so you might need that volume control. We left dynamics in our final mixes - there's no heavy compression and 'brick wall limiting' here.
