Sequenzial Shift is a new label project from Alex Dolby based in Italy that will focus on deeper and more experimental cuts. A veteran artist of the scene and highly prized producer known for releasing on Developer's Modularz, Emmanuel's ARTS, Marco Bailey's MB Elektronics, Teksupport and his own Affekt Recordings. His educated sound is much loved around the world and Functional Elements is an album that steps into leftfield territory with raw ideas and esoteric, analog creations with modular vibes and dystopian, ambient dubs. Monument premieres his track "Function Six" from the release "Functional Elements", which will be out on the 27th of January.

We are pleased to introduce a very talented artist/DJ and new face to the label, who took on duty to deliver NFR026, please welcome - Xima. Initially being obsessed with dancefloor oriented techno music, Xima shifted his production focus onto deeper and more experimental side of the genre.

His goal is to merge sounds of nature with synthesized soundscapes to create pleasant atmospheres accompanying with psychedelic tribal loops for trippier dance experience. The release contains 6 original tracks that perfectly represent the above statement from the artist, deep, floating, groovy music with some ambient motives that will occupy body and soul.

BIO.

Grown in the midst of Finnish spruce forests and the long and cold nordic winters, Latmos pours these elements into his mind entwining Deep Techno and Hypnotic Techno tracks. 

The music of Latmos is known from it's warm and weighty basslines, cavernous soundscapes and highly detailed synth motifs. Latmos records every track in real-time with sounds coming from various hardware synthesizers. With this very hands-on approach in music production, Latmos aims to create the sence of something being ”alive” in his music. The synth sounds of Latmos are ever-evolving and interacting with each other like being part of a living organism. 

Latmos has released music on various labels such as: Subosc, Fur:ther Sessions, Blacklabel Distillery and Cinus. His music has also been remixed by Deep Techno pioneers Mike Parker and Samuli Kemppi. 

The music of Latmos has been played by highly respected DJs like: Oscar Mulero, P.E.A.R.L., Dimi Angelis, Patrik Skoog, Kangding Ray, Denise Rabe, Magna Pia, Eric Cloutier, Vincent Neumann, Dino Sabatini and Blazej Malinowski to name a few. 

As a DJ Latmos is able to adapt into various venues and scenarios. He is always bringing something fresh to the table and keeping the listeners always on their toes.
