I made this music with an electric guitar, a Moog Sub Phatty, and an Arturia Pigment synthesizer, using the capabilities and instruments of the Ableton 11. Some of the drums were made based on a sound sample. I wanted to make a fusion music - originally. Listen if you like it - like it!

"Pretty Polly's Revenge" - based on the murder ballad "Pretty Polly" 

Pretty Polly is a classic folk ballad about a lady who falls for the wrong man and gets murdered. 

I've always been intrigued by folklore where a ghostly woman in a white dress appears ominously. I combined the stories to write this narrative/song where the ghost in white is Polly, seeking revenge on the man who betrayed her.

OTHER NOTES:
This song is based on "Pretty Polly," a murder ballad style folk song. This is kind of a sequel where Polly seeks her revenge.

The "all the world is green line" is reference to the Tom Waits song "all the world is green" where the singer begs their lover to remember the good old days.  The face forgives the mirror, but Polly forgives nothing.
