A small spirit is lured by the vibrant sounds of an archaic ritual, that takes place where once a great deluge cleared the lands. Drudging over and under layers of ancient roots and sunken treetops, it makes its way through the thick undergrowth. It's primordial senses pick up intoxicating gases that seep upward while nearby bare feet get sucked rhythmically into the soft wet grounds of a great Quagmire. The sound of thickly skinned drums being beaten by hands that lived multiple lifetimes resonates through the backwoods. All amplified by plants once deemed poisonous by the intruders that left this place long ago, now revered by humans and animals alike, to connect with a deeper sense of their own cosmic identity.
