 Over time I discovered that perfection is the best thing I can do at the moment, with the resources I have available, and the most important thing: the enjoyment of the process. This is the second music I have produced at home with Ableton Live, vocals and instruments. Between this and the first there is a huge leap, quantum I would say. Here I am still in my self-teaching process, pressing buttons and learning every day. And how happy I am, with this perfect imperfection.

 Con el tiempo fui descubriendo que la  perfección es lo mejor que puedo hacer en el momento, con los recursos que tengo disponibles, y lo más importante: el goce del proceso.  Esta es la segunda música que produzco en casa con el Ableton Live, voz e instrumentos. Entre esta y la primera hay un salto enorme, cuántico diría yo. Aquí sigo en mi proceso auto didacta, tocando botones y aprendiendo cada día.  Y que feliz Soy, con esta perfecta imperfección.

Hey everyone, Zypher here!
I’m excited to share this set with you. It represents a big step in my journey as an artist. After exploring many styles, I’ve finally found the direction I want to follow.
This raw/deep/hypnotic (r/d/h) techno combines deepness, ambiance, and spookiness with a hypnotic, charming, and repetitive melody. It captures the feeling of “finding light in the darkness.”
Just before my first trip to Berghain, I was reflecting on my past mixes, covering everything from Tech House to Hardgroove, Trance, Midtempo, and Electronica, trying to pinpoint what really resonated with me. After an intense night, hearing JakoJako’s (@jakojako_live) hypnotic set made everything click. Her style of mixing combines all the criteria that I describe to you before. Since then, I’ve been finding so much joy in digging for r/d/h techno tracks. I love to mix at home dancing, smiling, and losing myself in that music.
I started this set with JakoJako’s "Afterglow" as a tribute to that night, and I closed with ANNĒ’s "Heal My Soul” (@annemusicofficial), a track that speaks to how much techno means to me and how it’s become such a positive force in my life.

P.S. Funny enough to mention it, before recording, I smoked a nice joint and wrote in my little notebook “Fais le pour toi. Je t’aime” which means “Do it for yourselves. I love you”. I don’t know what to do with this information, but I felt I had to share it haha.

@Kotoek joined the Love Family during our Brasil Tour in January 2018. Shortly after we discovered her amazing voice and she started performing live at our events. The logical next step was to produce own music with that voice and we tried to do our part by proposing to include one of her first tracks on our first vinyl.
