	When asked what Henny’s sound is, he may struggle to limit it to a small set of adjectives. However, his drums and bass-forward, melodic, yet eclectic production never fail to intertwine with his meandering, but honest vocals. Inspired by experimental future bass, R&B, and Alternative Hip-Hop, Henny is a 22 year-old songwriter/producer based in New York who is beginning to make a name for himself. He tries not to put himself in a box and to push himself creatively, deriving inspiration from producers such as Monte Booker, Medasin, and Galimatias. 

	Ever since his father bought a Mac when he was 10, he would spend hours mixing together Garageband Loops to create what he thought of as masterpieces. Then one day in his sophomore year of High school he saw an upperclassmen showing off his beats and garnering respect from his friends, and Henny knew this was something he wanted to start taking seriously. Fast forward to the present, and Henny can be found writing experimental love songs, cooking up beats for him and his friends, or helping collaborators bring out their musical ideas using his fresh, innovative perspective on production. 

	From his surf-trap fusion single “Advance” with Reef to his dark R&B single with Chris Victor, it is clear that Henny has a breadth of sounds to create. On February 18th, he dropped his latest single with Lance Nelson, “Wanna Dance?”, a groovy Hip-Hop/R&B and Dance fusion tune. In a similar sound to that of artists like Kaytranada, Young Franco, and Goldlink, it was his first release with vocals of his own. While currently creating sounds for himself and other artists from Connecticut, New York, and all over, he has an EP depicting his experience of love in the works, which he is excited to drop in early summer.
