Lingering fingerprints of a time bygone, hints of a scent once always, a photograph. The dust settles, dancing in the the last rays of sunlight. These days were felt and the smiles and tears we shed are now or the past. The letters we wrote remain, the pictures fade as the world beyond the lens morphs into its ever changing continuum, leaving us with just our creation; a memory away. This album is an expression of nostalgia, capturing the bittersweet evocation of reading letters from the past, seeing the photographs, the wrenching effect of smelling the familiar scents of a time long passed and realizing that the world is always changing, and so are you. Created with many recordings of nature, instruments, non-instruments and processed using a wide variety of techniques including tape, granular synthesis and analog synthesis, Dynastor explores the storytelling quality of music, creating evocations of places, people, memories and their passing.

Toni Dimitrov & Demetrio Cecchitelli – A New Dawn (Shimmering Moods, 2022)


Like the sudden passage of a light ray, this new and first collaborative effort by Dimitrov & Cecchitelli evokes images of daily-life surrounded by a whitening veil of nostalgia and melancholy. An immersion into the multifaceted colours of ambient music, precisely in a direction of slow transformation dilated sounds into space, time and imagination. Deep textures mainly developed by Cecchitelli and strong soundscape/found sounds source from Dimitrov’s archive, yet extraneous either reflecting, all transporting to a structured aesthetics that takes back to the idea of a sound installation within a land-art point of view or a scenography merely composed of organic elements. Materic at the intersection between real and surreal, a spiritual voyage.

Vagantpoesi - Onomatopoeia [Shimmering Moods 2022]

My third album “Mujo” will be released on November 11, 2022. 
The album was made from 2014 to 2022. All together 9 years of time but over 10 years including the research period. 
It is an album of improvisation and recording simultaneously, using non-instrument objects along with the sounds that occur 
from a frosted lake and drifting ice, and recordings made by affecting the environment itself.
This album is comprised of 2 discs. Disc 1 features performing and interaction with sounds that occurs above the ice. 
Disc 2 features performing and interaction with sounds that occurs below the ice using hydrophones.
This trailer is a mixture of tracks included in disc 1 and disc 2.
Hopefully, you'll be able to hear it through solid mid- and low-range speakers or headphones. And this is just a trailer. It's even more amazing when you listen through the entire sound source.
The CD is full of ideas that you can't get from the download version, and the booklet on page 32 contains untold stories about the making of the album and photos I took between recordings, so I hope you buy the CD and listen to them.

2022年11月11日に松本一哉 の 3 枚目となるアルバム「無常」をSPEKK からリリースします。
今作「無常」は、氷をテーマとした作品となっていまして、2014 年から 2022 年までの 9 年 の歳月をかけて制作しました。リサーチを含めると 10 年以上になります。凍結した湖や流氷などが起こす音と共に、本来楽器ではない モノなどを使用し即興で 1 発録音をしたり、色々な仕掛けを用いて環境そのものに働きかけて録音した作品です。 
本作は 2 枚組になっていまして、disc1 は氷上で起こる事との演奏や働きかけを基にし、disc2 はハイドロフォンを使用し氷下で起こっ ていた事との演奏や働きかけを基にした作品構成になっています。
このトレイラーではdisc1とdisc2の音源を混ぜて構成しています。
願わくば、中低域のしっかり鳴るスピーカー、またはヘッドフォンで聴いてもらえたら嬉しいです。そして、これはあくまでもトレイラーです。音源全体を通して聴くともっと凄いです。
CDではダウンロード版では味わえない趣向を凝らしてますし、32ページのブックレットにはアルバム制作の秘話や私が録音の合間に撮影した写真が記載されていますので、ぜひCDを購入してで聴いてほしいです。

MM Works creates instrumental, cinematic music in a cross-genre exploring jazz, classical and post rock elements. Compositionally the Copenhagen-based duo roams in a delicate balance of structure and freeplay, avant-garde and modern composition.

'Fieldworks' was recorded in April and September 2022. It is a free-flowing experiment centered around guitarloops being reamped and manipulated through analog guitar effects. While there's no particular countable rhythm, the free jazz-like drumming pulsates underneath the loops that are topped by guitar improvisations, loose melodies, and broader flute arrangements.

Anthéne, the music of Bradley Sean Alexander Deschamps. He is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and also curates the Polar Seas Recordings label. His compositions are primarily created using electric guitar and synthesizers, with field recordings and occasional acoustic instruments.
