[07/06/2024] Dhul-Ḥijjah: A Great and Tremendous Month - By Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul Wāḥid حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

- Capitalising on the seasons of goodness throughout the year. 
- Actions carried out by the pilgrims on the days of Hajj. 
- Proof from the Qur’ān and Sunnah for the great virtue of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. 
- An example of how the Salaf were in these ten days. 
- The legislation of men raising their voices with the dhikr of Allāh, and the manner in which women are to carry this out. 
- The takbirāt that should be said throughout the ten days. 
- The prohibition of saying the takbirāt in unison. 
- Fasting in these days. 
- The tremendous virtues of the Day of ‘Arafah. 
- Allāh’s boasting to His angels on the Day of ‘Arafah. 
- That which is legislated on the Day of ‘Arafah for those who are not performing Hajj. 
- The best supplication to be said on the Day of ‘Arafah. 
- The greatest day of the year. 
- The emphasised Sunnah of sacrificing for men and women, and some rulings regarding it. 
- Strong speech from Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn (رحمه الله) regarding sending money overseas to make the ‘Eid sacrifice.
