Bio:

Manchester Based Techno DJ/Producer 'Kerouac' originally came on to the scene with his debut EP Ancoats, which reached dizzy heights charting 7th in Beatport’s (Techno), (Tech House) and (Deep House) charts, as well as 20th throughout all of Beatport’s Releases.

Since stepping out into the world of DJing 'Kerouac' has performed alongside the likes of Yousef, Flashmob, Detroit Swindle, Hosh, Chesus, Jonny Cade, Prosumer, Levon Vincent, Culoe De song, Maurice Fulton, Paul Woolford, 
Krysko and more, holding his own amongst some of the biggest names in the industry at venues throughout the U.K. 

2016 saw Kerouac’s debut festival appearances playing both Bluedot and Kendal Calling, as well as opening for 'Joy Orbison' at Hidden's after party for Parklife Festival. The summer also saw Kerouac’s first Ibiza performance at the infamous Ibiza Zoo. 

Kerouac has recently secured himself a residency for Manchester based label and promotion outfit ‘Love Dose’ and has new music due to be released on the label soon.

He has also received support from Chicago legend ‘Larry Heard’ who opened a recent mix with Kerouac’s track ‘Nighthawks’, the mix was also featured by ‘fact mag’ as their mix of the week.

His latest EP ‘Cellar Door’ released on ‘Love Dose’ November 2016, has proved Kerouac’s ability once again, charting 6th in Beatport’s (House Chart), 11th in (Tech House) and 21st across all Beatport’s releases. 

The 3 track EP has also received support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, FEEL MY BICEP, Danny Tenaglia, Marco Carola, &ME, Steve Lawler, Edu, Imbernon, Agoria, Ralph Lawson, Franco Bianco, Nick Warren, Inxec, Sacha Robotti, Anthony Pappa, Chris Fortier, Luca Agnelli , Alkalino and more.

At almost 20 years since her first footsteps into the music space, the producer, DJ and labelhead meticulously fuses house and techno with infectious melodies to trigger even the deepest emotions. Her sonic palette carefully curates a story – and when lauded by names including Kerri Chandler, Sasha, Pete Tong and Kenny Larkin, its narrative is one of genius.

With her label Power Plant and consequent debut ‘Flowerhead’ becoming immediately lauded in underground communities, La Fleur’s discography has blossomed from strength to strength; including - but not limited to - releases via revered labels including Kompakt and Cocoon, a residency and valued relationship with Watergate Berlin, her remixing Kerri Chandler and Sasha (including a hit 2018 collaboration with the latter on ‘Förbindelse’), a remix by Carl Craig and an abundance of high-profile party and festival appearances. Think Awakenings Festival, Tomorrowland, Life Festival, Creamfields and Warung, an array of Ibiza’s superclubs, Printworks London and Motion Bristol to name merely a few — the Swedish artist shows no sign of slowing down.

Looking to the future with new album ‘Väsen’, she brings listeners on a journey with her intrinsic self — the archaic Swedish word models not only an entity, but also an essence, added to its associated meanings embodying the natural world, strength and noise. It is a truly introspective collection of tracks, embodying La Fleur’s journey-like sound.

La Fleur’s trailblazing ascent shows no signs of deceleration. Her beautiful sonic concoction of house and techno creates the perfect storm for dancefloors young and old — and her curation comes directly from within.
