The ‘Prospect EP’ is three-track collaboration between the acclaimed Nox Vahn (fka Fairchild), and British-born rising talent Marsh.

Opening with distant wildlife sounds, an unassuming intro gives way to colossal pitch-bending synths in ‘Prospect’. ‘Follow Me’ sees the pair collaborate with American singer-producer Mimi Page to deliver a dream-like arrangement, whilst ‘Serena’s Garden’ (as heard on Anjunadeep 10) concludes the EP with ghostly vocals atop a backdrop of field-recordings.

Collecting musical thoughts in a daily daydream montage, Michiru Aoyama's studious approach to his craft has provided him with a unique perspective. Capturing fragments of sound that rise naturally to the surface of his memory, the Japanese artist gently sculpts guitar and piano into a new soundscape; smoothing roughened edges with a software former.

From Berlin to Kyoto, a new sonic architecture is constructed founded upon the juxtaposition of fast reflections and built-up European capital, with the open spaces and ambient reverberations of mountain surround in Japan's Yamashiro Basin. The pathway between nature and humanity, inspired through Aoyama's innovative approach to music, now represented in "18 – 0308 ALL".

Koi carp glide effortlessly in silent prowess, the dappled sunlight hits the water surface scattering shards of light like fractured beats and off-kilter percussive phrases. A new process fills the air with auditory ingenuity – piano and guitar coalesce to build a new pearl of sonic maturity. Jagged mountain terrain dominates the skyline in snow-capped beauty as ancient meets modern in a city of contrast and wonder. Technology creates its own aural foundation, emotive melodic passages meld with traditional instrumentation to create a new world outlook aided by fabled artistry – We Are All Astronauts, Kaito and Francois Svalis help bridge a new path across global waters through Michiru Aoyama's music.

We are very proud to present the third installment of our "Chillout Sessions" series, a collection of elegant, relaxing, and profound new tracks, once again compiled and mixed by Silk Music's chillout ambassador Gorm Sorensen. This time around, Gorm is pleased to share mixing duties with Silk Music veteran Sundriver, the acclaimed melodic progressive maestro. Sundriver has contributed three brand new original compositions of his own to "Chillout Sessions 03," all of which evince his uncanny penchant for (breathtaking) atmospheric textures and lush melody lines. It is an absolute treat to experience the fruits of his long-overdue sonic experiments in this genre. Silk Music fans will also recognize this album's many other veteran contributors -- The Cynic Project, Blugazer, State Azure, ElDera, Approaching Black, Delectatio, Stan Chetverikov, Sound Quelle, Veeshy, Inuuro, and Manu Zain -- while Hannah Sumner and swoof make lovely first-time appearances on our label.

The fifteen chillout & downtempo tunes that comprise "Chillout Sessions 03" seamlessly blend together and coalesce throughout this (nearly) two-hour mix. Consequently, the listener is freed from the "prison of the self" and is set adrift on a transportive aural voyage that often proves blissful, stirring, and, above all, therapeutic.

I am an artist now living in Jacksonville Florida and I have been listening to electronic music since the early days of Tangerine Dream. They were the group whose music most shaped my current taste. In 1985 Patrick O'Hearn came out with 'Ancient Dreams' and in 1989 Michael Pluznick came out with 'Where the Rain is Born' The synth work, percussion, and deeply layered atmospheres on those two cd's captivated me for years. Then in 1993 an explosion seemingly occurred-Young American Primitive came out with his work , Future Sound of London came out with Accelerator and Global Communication with their remix of Chapterhouse 'Pentamerous Metamorphosis' and suddenly this wonderful music was everywhere. I love this music. It puts me in a place I would otherwise not be able to visit.It has been a kind of elegant and secret passport to that place where I find inspiration for my art.  This music is for me a wellspring from which I drink daily. It is always exciting to discover a new artist or find a new track. On Soundcloud I can communicate a bit with the artists themselves which is always thrilling. None of my own peers are into what I listen to. If I go to a social gathering-ie. play poker with some friends if they see me pull out a cd that I have burnt they just put up their hands and make crosses as though they are warding off dracula from sucking the life out of them. I need to find a better card game.
So I am most grateful to the Soundcloud people-the artists and the followers and those who comment. It is nice to know others even in an abstract and surreal way-that is where I seem to hang the most comfortably anyways. Nice to almost know you.
As a postscript to this I have now uploaded a great deal of my artwork onto Flickr where my screen name is offshore geometries. Enjoy.
