What up Idle Cellars fam? We’re back with another stellar new mix for your spring-into-summer fun, so pop a tasty bottle and get horizontal! Once again we’re proud to give you a mix from some of the world’s best selectors and this month showcases another favorite - it’s Brooklyn’s JKriv! We met Jason while he was holding down basslines for incredible acoustic House band Tortured Soul, which he followed swiftly by a stint in NYC disco-obsessed group Escort (amazing!), then linking up with Aaron Dae to create the influential Razor-N-Tape label empire! Since then the man has been living the disco dream, traveling the world playing tunes, making some fantastic music (check out his groovy and soothing Within EP) and opening the RNT record shop in addition to being a wonderful human being. 

He’s hooked us up with a poolside killer that has us dreaming of hot, hazy afternoons treading water, mornings when there’s nothing to do but soak in some rays, & nights of wine & torchlit patios. We hope you enjoy as much as we do!

DJ Garth is a producer and musician, originally from the UK, who brought his style of electro and house to the Bay Area in the 90's.  One of the four that makes up the iconic WICKED crew, he has made records, produced, and still performs all over the world.

No Standards is a newly formed DJ crew consisting of Richard Fribert and Amine BF. Their Swedish-Tunisian lovechild comes in the form of a curious set, contrasting different sounds to each other and keeping things refreshing, rich and often corny.

Richard, who has 10 years+ of DJing in former hometowns of Copenhagen Stockholm and Malmoe, returns for his second Mellotron set. Together, the No Standards boys have been playing in and around Paris during the last year, and are heading for new hotspot club la Cabane in Brussels next month. They are also launching their own series of nights in Paris, starting next week. Listen in!

Richard Fribert is a Swedish vinyl affecionado, DJ and edit maker based in Paris. He is one of the guys behind the YouTube channel @quartiergroove exploring forgotten and unknown grooves from all over the planet, and part of the Parisian collective @nostandards. His music took him all the way to Tokyo, Copenhagen, Brussels & Stockholm in 2019, and in 2020 Richard has remained busy sharing his music discoveries in radio shows at (Rinse France, Ola Radio Bordeaux, IMR Paris, Rocket Radio Milano, Depot Radio Copenhagen), mix series (De Kat Memwa from St Petersburg) and with a 60 min film/mixtape exploring lots of Caribbean and Brazilian rare grooves and epic films for the Danish crew Back To Future Sounds. He is currently just about to release his first edit on Bandcamp for the young Brazilian label Bongosynth (don’t miss his take on this hard-hitting Ivete Sangalo axé track) and Richard is the man behind a handful of upcoming dancefloor friendly edits with Turkish and Lebanese roots.



In his mix, Richard takes from down to uptempo, from Brazil to the Middle East, through a wide variety of genres and styles. He showcases both some of his most recent own discoveries, a few of his own new private cuts, and towards the end he features some unreleased exclusive music made by friends @dardisku & @movingstill.
