Coyote are DJs/producers Timm Sure and Richard Hampson (aka Ampo). Since first meeting after both becoming residents at the historically important Venus club in Nottingham, between them they spent the 90s with residencies at many of the decades most seminal parties. As well as making regular appearances at countless events such as Andrew Weatherall's Sabresonic parties and Open All Hours at Ministry Of Sound, Ampo even guested as tour-DJ for Underworld.

Coyote officially came into being in 2004 when Timm and Ampo decided to start making music together. Since taking on the moniker, Coyote have had a wealth of releases and remixes on a huge array of labels including International Feel, Aficionado, and their own Is It Balearic? imprint, which was established in 2007. Initially conceived as merely a platform for their limited edition Coyote releases, the label now boasts an impressive list of artists and remixers that reads like a who's who of the Balearic music scene. Thanks to their distinctive sound as both DJs and music makers, Coyote find themselves regularly invited to play music all across the UK and further afield in places like Japan, Ibiza and Scandinavia. 

This, their Sungazing mix, is Coyote's second guest-mix for The Sunrise Mixtapes. Timm Sure: 'It's a mix of two halves. The first half is soundtracking a 30 minute sun-gazing at sunrise, feeling the regenerative energy of the solar waves absorb into you. The second half is letting the new spark of energy take hold and embrace the new day'.

La Bestiole est une petite créature qui aime se déhancher sur des rythmes dansants et autres petits trésors cachés.

Il s'agit de chercher, couper, coller mais surtout d'Amour. Cette première sortie présente quatre styles différents : jam hip-hop au scratchs ajustés, italo disco kitsch à souhait, uptempo afro-disco avec une touche soukous et enfin "Sundar Cheenee", une piste bollywoodienne de Baerlz, connu pour ses tracks sur le label AM records d'Afrobot. 

C'est ce dernier morceau "Sundar Cheenee" que l'on vous propose en exclusivité aujourd'hui avant sa sortie officielle le 15 septembre prochain. On ne peut pas mieux commencer la rentrée !

La Bestiole is a tiny little creature that loves old and unusual dance music. It’s all about digging, cutting, gluing, and loving. This first release showcases four different styles : funky jam with scratches, kitsch italo disco, uptempo afro disco with a soukous touch, and "Sundar Cheenee", a bollywood track as Baerlz as been known to deliver on labels like Afrobot’s AM or Hysteric’s Ziyka, this time full of epic horn riffs and crazy tablas rhythms.
