London-based  band Awalé returns with a new sound, Senegalese soul. Biram Seck’s  soaring voice evokes messages of love and peace, underpinned by heavenly  poly-rhythm groove explorations. Intense and spiritual Sabar Senegalese  percussion and Afro-Latin drums conversations, weaving intricate guitar  patterns and horn lines with catchy bass riffs. Like a spinning  kaleidoscope of sounds, each tune travels on a varied musical journey,  from afrobeat to soul, deep Afro-jazz to Latin. Awalé is on a mission  to experience happiness together in these fractured times.

LotusMoon is a New York based DJ whose art making is interested in engaging with the multi-dimensional threads, narratives and histories, that run through African Diasporic experiences.  Through music, drawing heavily from Afro-Caribbean roots and upbringing in Harlem, she hopes to cultivate and foster a space of resistance and transcendence that centers the bodies of womxn + femmes + qtpoc globally.  A space for us to fully be.

Gato Pretos built their name through stunning high energetic live performances where they combine Electronic Beats with powerful live percussions from Senegal -  Worldmusic with todays Club Attitude combined with sensible ingredients of last decades  black music sound!
From 2013 onwards  they have been rocking dancefloors around the Globe:
No matter if its a hip electro club in Paris, an event in their home town Düsseldorf, or on international stages like "Nyege Nyege"-Festival in Uganda: When the black cat comes around, everyone will understand: their global bass power and progressive metropolitan grooves are unstoppable.

Gato Preto‘s elaborate music videos are eye catchers especially their video for "Barulho" caused loads of attention: with elements of the 80th steampunk and the ideal world of Afrofuturism pioneers, such as the P-Funk master George Clinton or the Dub-priest Lee Scratch Perry.
