it all began for Osey in 2003 in the gritty city of London, where he fell in deep with house, breaks and vinyl. This love soon found him holding down residencies and playing guest slots across London, the mainland and Ibiza, where he forged a reputation for laying down a killer vibe

Arriving back in New Zealand in 2014 to raise a family, Osey immersed himself in the local scene, playing throughout the lush Antipodean side of the world at festivals and events like Rainbow Serpent, Sideburn, Shipwrecked, Splore and AUM as well as curating his own summer event, LAST PLACE ON EARTH.

More recently he has stepped into the studio and begun developing his knowledge of production. Under the guise Red Project, he has been working alongside revered NZ acts as well as creating his own sonic soundscapes. Red Project has upcoming releases on Beat & Path as well as composing his own cheeky re-rubs and exclusive edits for his live sets.





 
Now at the helm of LO-FI Productions - a house/techno collective that curates party’s with a twist, Osey has built a loyal following of die hard ravers alongside fresh faced house and techno heads with his infectious energy and passion for quality.
 
From deep aquatic house groovers to peak time destroyers, Osey creativity
on the decks allows him tweak any dancefloor into a frenzy.
 
Osey’s sound is always groovy, always melodic, always on point.

Leon cut his musical teeth playing guitar in '90s rock band Fat Mannequin, which introduced him to both the live stage and studio environment from age 16.
In '98, frustrated by the lack of tonal variety in guitars, Leon swapped his guitars for a collection of keyboards and samplers, and the rest is history. As a natural progression from producing dance music, Leon D started DJing in 1999.

Leon has clocked up DJ support slots for many international acts including Ian Pooley, Eddie Matos, FC Kahuna, DJ Joshua, Dano, Miles Hollway and Jonathan Yeo.

Leon was also part of the Cuffy & Leon D production team.
In Wellington, Cuffy and Leon teamed up in 1999 combining their gear and knowledge in pursuit of creating their own sound. 
With a number of vinyl and CD releases in the golden era of NZ dance music they crafted their sound from electronica to disco.

By day, Leon is Product Manager for the Recording, Synth, DJ & Livesound brands at Rockshop, New Zealand's largest musical instrument retailer.
