BIG BROTHER is a paranoid romp through the dark corridors of your dance-algorithm, a wonky, dissociative funk experience for heavy heads trying to unlock their own brainwashed brain and SERIOUSLY dance.

Rounding things off is XENIT, a relatively placid, deep, trancey trip that transports you 8 hours in to an amazing party, when you’re loose and well oiled with positive feelings.

R&S welcomes Acid Mondays for a 12" of lysergic house music that reaches far into the outer cosmos. 
Formed "somewhere in the 5th dimension” Acid Mondays is the cosmic coalition of fellow psychonauts Negghead (Dan Ward) and Lex Wolf (Alex Wolfenden).  

Repeated transformative visits to Ibiza culminated in landing regular slots at Circoloco where they have been testing this tune in the dance all Summer long. 

‘Universal Rhythm’, their latest interstellar dispatch and debut on R&S is their finest work to date. An anthemic paean to the cosmos that features an impassioned spoken word missive from shamanistic MC Shovell, impressively recorded in a single take, making the case for the universality of experience and oneness of all beings.  

Latin rhythms fuse with a driving Fender Rhodes lick (provided by JD73) and percolating cow bells to hypnotic effect. This calls to mind a combination of classic Carl Craig and Villalobos at his most playful. R&S new signing The Maghreban supplies a killer dubbed out take on the original that strips away the heavy kicks and pumps up the percussion, hurtling the synth pads to the fore that comes on like John Carpenter peaking on MDMA.

Yarni’s ‘Entkommen’ was a well-received debut album on this label last year, and now comes the first of two remixes EPs. AWITW, ATDHE, Harmonious, Lauer, Tales of Voodoo and IPG V Yarni all serve up brilliant new versions ahead of part two in September.
Night Noise regular AWITW opens things up and channels his Balearic senses on ‘Agitator’ creating a CFCF like vibe. It’s awash with rippling synths and beach-y grooves to carry you away.
Next up, IPG follow on from their recent disco hit with Hot Toddy, joining forces here with Yarni for a remix of ‘Granny’s Garden’ that is blissed out and dreamy thanks to the heavenly chords and gentle percussion. Then it’s, ATDHE a newcomer from Yarni’s hometown of Sheffield who breathes new life, broken beats & shimmering melodies into ‘Waterfall’.
For his remix, Dutch producer ‘Harmonious’ takes us on a beautifully harmonic journey with rubbery kicks powering along the thoughtful groove. After that is another newcomer in the form of Tales Of Voodoo who take the delightful ‘Goin Live in Rabat’, strip it back and turn it into a percussion heavy, Sergio Mendes styled slice of Latin tinged dance floor action. Last of all is an alternative disco remix of ’28 Years of It’ from Tuff City Kid member Lauer who uses all his know how to cook up a euphoric remix with big retro chords and effortlessly summery vibes. 
All six of these remixes offering something different but equally essential for the dance floor and mark another superb release from Night Noise Music.

A tasty 4-track sampler featuring highlights from some of our upcoming releases. @bengomori curates another unputdownable VA with four killer tracks from new, emerging and resurgent names from four different countries that have been getting big reactions of late.
Copenhagen's genius-like "Paxton Fettel" has been destroying dancefloors with his piano-heavy, joyous sound recently on labels like Delusions Of Grandeur and Greta Cottage Workshop. "I'd Like To Know You Better" is another fist-pumping jam that oozes positivity. London DJ "Kristy Harper" makes her debut in the production world with the slinky, pared-back disco groove of "Uncle Jungle" - an earworm of a track which she has been consistently pestered for when playing in her sets.
Sub Club resident Harri has been slaving away over new material as one half of Glasgow duo "Manakinz" alongside his bud Max, with their heavyweight, relentlessly building and layered house sounds exemplified on the extremely potent "Robopubez (Rust In Peace)". Sounds from South Africa round off the EP, as now-London-based talent "Maxime Alexander" turns out a phat acid-house-rap jam with fellow SA rapper $hakes' irresistible delivery on hand.

"Après quelques centaines de concerts et 3 albums et 3 splits unanimement salués par une presse punk fervente, un public de cave qui s'est abonné, et, tant qu'à faire, par un Octave, l'équivalent belge d'une Victoire de la Musique ou un passage en grande pompe par Arte Concert, le duo La Jungle poursuit son cheminement dans les hybridations du rock et de la dance en confiant les morceaux de leur dernier album Past // Middle Age // Future à une cohorte de producteurs essentiellement électroniques dans un triple LP aussi passionnant que jouissivement foutraque.

Cette collection de 24 remixes est, sans surprise, essentiellement issue des rencontres faites à travers les incessantes tournées qui ballotent les deux larrons et la belle team de roadies qui les entoure depuis des années aux quatre coins de la scène musicale européenne, des teufs techno brûlantes aux salles officielles guindées en passant, avec autant de plaisir que d'acharnement, par les éternels rades anonymes de villes sous-estimées.

Plus qu'une célébration collective de la fureur d'un groupe qui passionne au delà des chapelles et de la tentative toujours périlleuse de remixer du rock, cette collection vient offrir une photographie alternative des fervents activistes qui gravitent dans des zones interstitielles de la musique électronique. On y trouve en effet tout autant une brochette de seigneurs de leurs esthétiques respectives - Techno Thriller, Osica, Ensemble Economique, Almeeva... - que des notables de villes sans sommeil - DC Salas et Pierre du Fuse à Bruxelles, Françoise Pagan à Nantes ou Pasteur Charles à Paris - , des groupes ou membres de groupes ayant plutôt joué la subtile carte de la reprise - Why The Eye?, Rodolphe Coster - ou quelques-unes des (plus ou moins) nouvelles têtes qui excitent fort des undergrounds vivaces, à l'image de Calling Marian, les MCs de Choolers Division ou encore Rraouhhh!!!. Derrière un name dropping dramatiquement partiel, cette cartographie baroque et dépareillée forme un instantané précieux, et, surtout et avant tout, une concentration de bangers déroutants dans laquelle chaque DJ, du plus freak au plus kiffeur, devrait pouvoir trouver au bas mot une chaussure pour prendre son pied.
