Kudos from a fellow ASM Hydrasynther, it really is an awesome piece of kit. Got the keyboard version as my first hardware synth a while back, have had a blast so far... need to just arrange more time with it. :)

Thanks for another inspirational project this week.

I opted for using Bassel's statement for the end, building a track with a rather maximal approach.

Starting with recording a simple guitar line on my ES-330, I added layers of bass, micro samples and variations and ended up with something rather melancholic but funky.

All put together in Ableton.

I've been looking at a bunch of videos of rainy nights in Tokyo, feeling inspired by the relative calm of otherwise busy streets. 
I have only had the Hydrasynth for a short time, but I've managed to squeeze it in as much of my schedule as possible. I've fallen quite hard for this marvellous instrument; it really is a rich, expressive, modern, digital ax for whatever the future has in store.

I was inspired to write this album after reading Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale “The Snow Queen” for the first time last year.

Atmospheric, quirky, often cold and dark, but sometimes warm and light.

I feel this is my most coherent collection of music so far.

LeSynth is a passionate electronic musician who has been composing music for film, TV, concerts, and radio for decades. He learned synthesis on an Aries modular system and sampling on an Akai S900. LeSynth's studio is home to many electronic instruments, and he is currently writing LoFi music.
