● The full moon is getting closer and we are already excited about our next Rituals Tape. 
 ● This full moon brings out a lot of change, forward movement, and momentum. All the intense energy guarantees a powerful day ahead. This week we can take a deeper look at what ways we can come together in unity within ourselves and others. ❤ 
 ● With all this said, the sun counts its last beams and slowly we move into the longer and darker hours of our everyday life, for the smoothest transaction into the dark from the light we happily welcome into our family & present you a story from an extremely talented and just incredible young man:  Malü ,   Whose productions can transmit you into the deep and yet unknown adventures... and the mixes:  you'll know it yourself very soon :)  
 ● This tape was recorded on September 3rd at the Bummelzug festival @ the cellar stage. You'll find lots of released and unreleased gems in it to purify your body and soul. 
 ● Malü in his musical tale perfectly expresses all the feelings and emotions one can receive while dancing the barefoot dance, under the sunshine, covered in flowers, feathers & rainbows, surrounded by endless smiles from the beautiful people.   ☮ ✿

Pracchardana is an ancient Sanskrit word for exhale or eject...

“...by maintaining the pensive state felt at the time of soft and steady exhalation and during passive retention after exhalation.” The sutra refers to a method of breath control which also relaxes the mind and keeps it from fluctuating.

For Tobi (and us, too), the most important element in music is always the rhythm. As we’re constantly inhaling and exhaling (pracchardana) through our lives, the rhythm reflects this principle of existance and so does the mix you are about to hear.

The Aztec is one of the few older civilizations that featured mandatory education at home and in schools. Every child was educated, no matter his or her social status, whether noble, commoner or slave.

All children were taught a large collection of sayings called the huehuetlatolli, which incorporated Aztec ideas and teachings. The Aztec culture expected well-behaved people so children were taught to be humble, obedient and hardworking. 

The huehuetlatolli included many sayings on all aspects of life, from welcoming newborn infants to the family to what to say at the death of a relative. Every few years, the children were called to the temple and tested on how much they had learned of this inherited cultural knowledge.

For the first 14 years of life, boys and girls were taught at home by their parents. After that, the boys attended either the noble school, called a calmecac, or the commoners’ school, the telpochcalli. Girls went to a separate school, where they learned household skills, religious rituals, singing and dancing or craftwork. Some talented girls were chosen to be midwives and received the full training of a healer. Other athletically talented girls might be sent to the house of dancing and singing for special training.

This week's Source to Cycle podcast comes from Alex Wolfenden.  Resident DJ at Circus in Liverpool, and one half of Acid Mondays (2020 Vision, Circus Recordings), Alex provides a superb selection this week.

Alongside Circus, Alex regularly DJs at  Cafe Mambo and Space in Ibiza as well as the other main clubs on the island.  Fusing a conducive cocktail of obscure techno, house classics, movie film scores and electronica, his DJ style has seeped into his production outfit, Acid Mondays.  Alongside production partner Negghead, the Acid Mondays have already built a solid release schedule on labels like 2020 Vision, Compost, Magnetic and Circus Recordings, and a new release forthcoming on Illusion Records, backed with a Delano Smith remix.
