Lawrence "Husky" Huskinson & Johann "Yogi" Willenberg's collaborative project @randomsoul has long been a go to for quality underground house music. With releases going back well into the 00's they have amassed a huge body of beautifully produced house music which is perfectly calibrated for the dancefloor. 

Their latest track 'Vast Universe' is another sumptuous slice of house music with a wonderfully urgent and timeless feel.

London's @sattammusic has created something really special here with Franklin which lands via @etonmessyrecords this week. Combining a divine deep yet energetic bassline with a subtle filtered disco groove which ebbs and flows beautifully across the track Franklin just screams positivity. With it's warm summer feels and endless energy this is a track which will see huge dj support if there is any justice.

Thinking About You is a perfect Summer disco single perfectly crafted for boat and pool parties alike with it's groove heavy bassline, chic-esque guitar licks and immediate and insanely catchy vocal loop. @rasmusfaber and @davidharks have both featured numerous times on the pages of LV online so them coming together is clearly a cause for celebration and the resultant track Never Enough on @paperecordings could very well be one of the tracks of the summer.

The combination of Rasmus's sublime production and David's wonderful vocal is really outstanding. Our premier today see's them draft in long time scene head @max-essa for what is a sublime slice of warm summery Nu Disco. Daje Funk has become a real go to label if you love a modern take on classic funk which has been meticulously recrafted to work for today's dancefloors. There have been some real moments on the label already De Gama, Massimo Berardi, DJ Rocca and some of the finest producers out there today working in the disco and edits scenes.

Their latest release is the Slam Dunk EP and the name hits the nail right on the head. It's most definitely a musical slam dunk with four tracks from across the funk spectrum as an all-star cast of producers Ronny Hammond, Shit Hot Soundsystem, Uptown Funk and Coldbeard all take turns to vie for dancefloor gold.

Our premier today is Ronny Hammond’s ‘Keep On Groovin’ and it’s a very serious club track featuring a classic "where do I know that from" vocal sample. Infectious is the first word that comes to mind to describe Somebody, it's a perfect fusion of classic disco energy and 2021 production techniques with the resultant track being insanely catchy. indeed it's a track which will cause all sorts of mischief on the dancefloor in the coming months.

A collaboration between Los Angeles based @clavettemusic and Austin based producer @boogietraxxatx this one came about through lockdown when the two producers met online and shared their love of 70's disco and production gear.

Somebody is released on the 23rd July with a full EP incoming on the 6th August and if Somebody is anything to go by this is a collaboration that we hope runs and runs.
