 It was an absolute pleasure to be invited to play at the 20th Anniversary of Shambhala Music Festival in the amazing Fractal Forest this year. Big thanks to Rich Rich and the rest of the Fractal team for putting on the best show on earth and welcoming me into the family with open arms. The set I played was by far the best time I’ve ever had on stage and feel incredibly lucky to have shared that moment with all the amazing people at Shambhala.

When we think of the West Coast dancehall scene, a few names immediately come to mind, and Deejay Theory is always at the top of the list. A mainstay in the San Francisco Bay Area for over a decade as a DJ, promoter, and producer, Jake Krauth AKA Deejay Theory has put in more work for the "tropical bass" movement than most, and it shows. His laundry list of collaborations, remixes, and production credits range from Beenie Man and Sizzla to Keys N Krates and Anna Lunoe, and he's toured all over the world as a top dancehall selector. His unique approach to dancehall from a bass music and hip-hop perspective has made him one of the most respected tastemakers in the world, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome him for the next installment in the Booms and Claps Mix Series.
