I think it’s safe to say that the last three mixes in this series have been a narrative of some particularly tumultuous times in my life. At this point I’m happy to say that I’m feeling mentally and physically healthier than I have been in the last three years. Getting a grip on my vices and making healthier choices with my time has recharged my batteries, and having this pandemic shit somewhat wrapping up - I’m feeling more motivated than ever to get back to the music. 
I also wanna dedicate this mix to to all the incredible souls that we’ve lost in the past year. Some of the brightest lights have left us and it’s truly been heartbreaking for so many of us. So tell your people you love them and don’t take anything for granted.

Hot on the heels of the scorpio full moon, we are mesmerized by LiT MiX 033 from Portland’s total-eclipse-of-the-heartthrob DJ Mr. Wu. Dripping with swag and sensuality, this set is a moody masterpiece that melts through the 100-120bpm range. Mixing fresh rnb, rap, 808 bass, amapiano and more for an hour of music ideal for both cosy autumn easy listening, and getting the party heated. 
 
A legendary west coast selector also known as the designer behind clothing brand Rythmatix, Mr. Wu has been a fave DJ of the crew for almost a decade. Calling his clothing ‘a study in visual rhythms’, his DJ mixes could be called ‘a dance through sonic imagery’. The storytelling is key— from rappers with evocative lyrics in the tracks, to the intersecting narratives connecting Mr. Wu’s diverse yet distilled multi-genre sonic sensibilities.
