Hey I’m LIL SHXDE. Y’all may wonder why I have “LIL” in front of my name. Well it’s an acronym. It stands for “Lost In Life”. Now the “a” is replaced by an “x” because when people think of shade, they think of darkness. When you are in the dark, there is a lot of unknown just like life. This could also be considered as being like an equation because everyone is trying to solve the unknown factor in life. Hence why there is an “x”. 

Music is an escape. It’s where you can relate to the emotions and reflect on your own life. Music has brought so many cultures and ethnicities together over the last several years. And my mission is to make music that is therapeutic to myself and to others

Mind over matter, when you get knocked down, only you can get back up. There may be help however it’s your choice to determine if you wanna give up or not. Rise above your mistakes and prove to the haters who have never believed in you, that good can rise out of life.
