James Middleditch, originally from Birmingham, blew up on the Bristol DJ circuit whilst studying Business Studies at UWE in 2004. Playing out regularly, James won numerous DJ competitions including those run by Innovation In The Sun/Random Concept (judged by Friction), Bedlam/Valve and Drum&Bass Arena/Ministry Of Sound.

No longer content with just playing music and having developed a keen ear for what sounds good, Stanza has redirected his energy into creating his own tracks. Drawing influence from absolutely anything and everything, Stanza's production can't be pigeon-holed but is starting to gather support from all corners of the scene. This is just the start!
