One of the great challenges for many dharma practitioners is working with the energy of anger. It may feel scary, taboo or just uncomfortable. We may receive messages that anger isn't spiritual and we should bypass or repress it. But that only gives it more power. This talk explores practical ways to work with anger in our practice including what the Buddha recommended.

Practical Approaches To Working With Anger

Karma is action in Buddhism, driven by intention. With practice we cultivate the ability to choose our response and our actions, internally and externally. We might think our intentions are good and so our actions will follow, but our intentions are often under the influence of strong conditioning that prevents us from living our choices. But with practice, we can find our way to greater freedom.

It is the beginning and the end of the path, to understand the truth of Dukkha and abandon all of its causes.
