We're excited to present this mix from the group  @MigraMusicOfficial ; a world Music project with notes of electronic coming from the south of planet earth (Chile). 

Their sound arises from melodies, harmonies and authentic rhythms from South America combined with ethnic elements from European, African and Asian cultures. "...& So It Goes" was the 3rd full length album from Kaya Project. Focused on more acoustic instrumentation than the previous albums, “…& So It Goes” is an exotic tapestry of slide guitar, klezmer clarinet (played by Susi Evans) , classical Indian violin (Deepak Pandit) and Arabic mowals fused with tribal percussion, breakbeats and Gypsy jazz. Laced with Seb's signature guitar work & Natasha's keyboards, dreamlike vocals and flute, the album also featured a range of vocal contributions from the likes of Deeyah, Randolph Matthews, Irina Mikhailova, Florence Comment and others. Taking the unmistakable Kaya Project sound to new levels, Seb and Natasha artfully created a warm and timeless musical experience, leaving the listener plenty of delectable elements to savor.

Sooo.. I’m cleaning my computer HD for more space and order, and I found this.. A song that I discovered when i was in Nepal walking up to the Annapurna base camp. Nothing special here, I did this sort of remix for a mastering purpose test at the time… I only put in a heavier kick and a fat bass and some shakers.. the track is already amazing as it is… and I thought to put it out as it is on the Intrerweb.. maybe somebody will like it and use it. :)

Released on the acclaimed Desert Trax imprint, Jakare’s ‘Apu’ EP is the culmination of all that’s dear about both artists’ creative vision, blending intricate technical design with melodic tenderness and biophilic atmospherics. The artists’ choice to pursue these new avenues of shamanic downtempo music reflects their willingness to start afresh under a new alias and pursue experimentation without the pre-conceived associations with their solo projects.

In the course of four songs, the duo paint a truly vivid picture of ancient life in nature and taking inspiration from different modern cultures; from the slight nod to the bluesy Latin American marshes of ‘Cleansing’, Andean flavours on ‘Glass Temple’, the instrumental grooves of ‘GloBall’ and aquatic night time swims in ‘Moon Howl’, the EP stays consistent in its overall aesthetic and harmoniousness throughout. The duo utilise charango, classic guitars, electric guitar, pan flute, shakers, percussions to bring the organic sound, while relying on their masterful sound design techniques to develop cinematic field-recording-based atmospherics.
