This set was a rollercoaster as I tried to fit in so many different genres and tempos.

Burning Dam - 2025

We've had a really busy start to the summer so we took a short siesta from the mix series, but we are back with a stellar spacey and fun jungle mix from our friend WHYS out in Los Angeles. Some of our PNW fam may have caught her set at Bass Coast in 2024 on Slay Bay. We are hyped to welcome her to the mix series with Sublimix 167!

WHYS, founder of DISLABEL, is an all star junglist and LA native that goes hard for the culture and on the dancefloor. With releases on Worst Behavior Recs, Ninja Tune, Yeska Beatz, and more, her catalog of music continues to grow. Impeccable taste and big blends characterize her high energy bass booming sets- referencing everything current about bass music and beyond while paying tribute to OG jungle/DNB sound every time.

This set was milestone in my music journey, and I learnt a lot from this gig. I felt the electric energy through the crowd as I warmed up the baddest bunch of bass babes around. starting with some horny house, flowing into highs and lows of breaks and bass. this was a fun one experimenting with new and old favourites of mine.
