Here's a little (imperfect) extended practice session for the Rhythm Revolt.  This is my first deep dive into breakbeat and breaks.  These are genres I love to dance to, but have yet to pull a set together, until now!  Ummmmmnnn.. now I'm hooked.

Last year, an event organizer asked me to play some dub and deep techno and I fell in love with the sounds.  This time, the quest for some broken beats has sent me down another extremely pleasing sonic journey.

Oh genres of many sorts, I love you up.

Rhythm Revolt - Extended Practice Session

As a DJ, 4/4 is Löblová 's usual way to play. Like any good lover of the multi-genres and just after playing her DnB debut, the polyrhythms aren't letting go (at least at this minute). Try as she did to record a house and techno mix for the Pachena Bay Music Festival submission, this is how it turned out, in it's poly-rhythmic and syncopated groove.  What can you do, when you're in the mood for DnB?  :)

Two years ago, I had the absolute delight to open for one of his shows here in Victoria. It marked the first time I played out with cdj's live and the experience  definitely added fuel to my love of sharing music.

Spring 2025 Mini Mix

Nectar Festival was a soul reunion—an interweaving of hearts and histories that have danced together across decades. For me, this gathering spanned over twenty years of connections: landmates, chosen family, kindred spirits, past and present loves, new faces, and those yet to formally enter the circle. It was a celebration of life, of presence, and of time shared in a lush, peaceful forest sanctuary.

Opening the Nectar Stage on Saturday was an honour beyond words. This mix is a journey—a sonic offering in gratitude to all who help us gather, who hold the container for music, movement, and shared transformation.

In moments like these, we’re gifted the chance to elevate—to move energy, shift perception, and feel safe enough to let music become the medicine it truly is. A sacred vibration. A bridge between worlds.

With freedom to move between genres, this set begins gently at 90 BPM, inviting us to root into our bodies and feel the earth beneath our feet—before gradually ascending to 120 BPM, lifting us into expansive states of awareness and dance. It’s a rhythmic unfolding that calls us into alignment with our deeper wisdom, ignites inspiration, and opens space for authentic connection—with self, with others, with something greater.

With infinite gratitude to the music-makers—thank you for your creativity and your offerings. Your sounds are blessings, and I am endlessly moved by what you bring into the world.

Nectar Festival 2025 - Elevate Your View Mix

Revel Festival (https://soundcloud.com/revelfest) is an incredible boutique festival, nestled between mountains, beside the Silmikinmen River. This was Revel's 4th year and Löblová's 3rd year attending and playing for this special crowd of seasoned festival goers.

Always such an honour to play and expand my djing style and genre repertoire.  This year, the inspiration goes towards UKG and breakbeat. The energy from the music, the nature and the enthusiastic crowd was pure magic.
