Quite a fascinating improv with some wonderful runs and fine temperament among it's path I felt. Lovely settled steady pace from 0.30 up to the minute mark too, and wonderfully played Davide... 

Really beautiful piano runs and a stunning, clear piano sound - you have to be playing a real grand piano recorded with expensive microphones - I can hear all the sympathetic vibrations of the strings when the pedal is down - a really fabulous sound, one of the best piano sounds on soundcloud! Zap Mama - Take me Coco (from "Zap Mama")

Overture. Hope.

Holding Patterns. Sometimes I think I spend too much time in airports.

Low Motion. Originally titled “Slow motion” until I realized there are thousands of songs titled “Slow Motion”. I dropped the “S”. This is “Low Motion”.

Static Lullaby. Probably not really a Lullaby per se, and maybe not ambient. You can decide.

Losing Yourself in the Answer. Perfect.

Go Home. I really am enjoying myself. I’m having a good time, but truth be told I really just want to go home.

One Foot. In this life sometimes the best we can do is put one foot in front of the other.

The Day the Internet Went Away. Inspired by a power outage. What did we used to do before the internet?

Geraniums. I think they are one of my favorite flowers for some reason, I don’t know why.

Seventy Eights. As in 78 RPM records where it all started. There is something fascinating about taking little clips of sound and making them into something else.

Moments is a calm, reflective track built for stillness, sunsets, and introspection.
Blending warm textures with gentle melodies, it captures the feeling of pausing — of letting go and simply being.
Released on my label Dream of Deep, this track is for quiet mornings, golden hours, and everything in between.

Moments

Participation mystique refers to the innate human connection to symbolic and imaginative experiences. This symbolic realm exists before or alongside our ability to think analytically or rationally. The idea is strongly linked to projection, as these symbolic or mythic elements naturally extend themselves into the world around us—into people, places, and things, just like how we unconsciously assign color to what we see.

Participation mystique is not just a psychological concept, but an aesthetic principle – a lens through which we perceive art as more than just something we observe; it becomes something inhabited.

In artistic terms, participation mystique can be thought of as a dissolving boundary between the self and the image. In this perspective, any manifestation of art can be perceived not just as an external object, but as an extension of the viewer’s unconscious. Colors, shapes, and atmosphere resonate with inner archetypes – mythical, primordial, emotional – before the mind can name them. This is why abstract compositions can seem hauntingly familiar, or why certain symbols – like a spiral, a doorway, or a shady forest – draw out something ancient, deep, and unconscious from us.
