i can definitely agree with Magnetic Fields, Holiday is my favorite album of theirs, but all their early albums are great, such a good songwriter, you both sound super sweet together, i love it! Happy New Year!!!

This is for late night listening...

As a child, I was afflicted with inhuman amounts of school homework. I had to write several essays and compositions every week and the fashioning of these went on late into the night, until my little ears were burning with tiredness.  It was always tempting to finish an adventurous and dramatic composition with the ultimate cop-out: "Then I woke up..."

But I never did, because I recognised the cliché even at the age of 12. I hope I can avoid clichés evermore. All of my future adventures will continue to have proper logical endings, I hope. However, I do sleep a lot these days... perchance to dream?

There a reason why this is 18 minutes long, hear me out - So this is a song I wrote over ten years ago that my good friend , children's book author Simon Chadwick always liked and he comissioned me to make this long version for a soundtrack to a film of his illustrations. Could have edited it, but some people may want to drift along through life to a bed of soft arpeggios. If you just want to hear the song just hit skip after three minutes.
