The Alchemical Theory project was born in 2018 from the creative union of three italian producers. The identity of the project has been very influenced by the favorite sounds of the three artists, ranging from modular electronic sounds to much more atmospheric sounds. This project also comes from the love of mysticism, alchemy and nature. In each release they want to represent something that affects the listener's mind, reproducing a real mental journey.

Lost In Ether | Origin Series | GOŚCIŃSKA 

BIO:
The ever-evolving music interests and love for rhythmic variety brought GOŚCIŃSKA to delve into various styles that she blends in her sets. Melting moody electro with groovy techno; breakbeat with 4x4 rhythms or smashing a techno set spiced up with acid, breaks, punk, D’n’B is what you can expect. Industrial slow-beat, deconstructed club, experimental and ambient music all have a special place in her non-peak time selection as well. 

She’s been hosting a radio show on the London Aaja Music radio under the @szlag_my_pitch_up  project, where she invites prominent electronic music artists for a chat and to show the non-club music selection they never get to play in clubs, all the while promoting promising newcomers.

Working on the program and organization of her brainchild @sfora_art is what she does when not behind the decks. The DIY festival is an intimate summer event in the lake region of Poland, focusing on electronic music, visuals and workshops, giving space of expression to underground artists from various countries. Next edition: 2-4.06.2023.

In the 80th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host A.Denial

Ậ.Deniậl - also known as Anastasiia, based in St. Petersburg / Russia,  started her career as a DJ in 2008. Her journey began with underground  techno & breakbeat in the techno-club "Tunnel". 
Since then, she has made a long way through out diverse electronic music  genres. 
In 2019, she created her own events series called Sacred Sound Events,  which is built around the underground and hypnotic side of electronic  music.  
In 2023 she has the first releases on the Nnullz and Wetland labels.  Her sets are always conceptual and with a deep shaman grooves.

MoonLET presents Soul Lazh Live in Gare (PT) for the Phase CTV X Purveyance Showcase. A live performance based on drum machines, synthesizers, effects pedals and distortions. Dynamic and forceful techno, loaded with powerful synthesized sequences, hypnotic melodies and enveloping atmospheres.

Soul Lazh is Blach's most ambitious project, a classic in the Galician scene, reinvented after pandemic in live format. Founder of Purveyance Records and Events, we delve deeper with him about the evolution of their project and a cycle of success in this Q&A: 

-With your long trajectory, how did you become interested in live acts? When have you decided to take this challenge? 

·One of the best feelings as a performer is connecting and making the audience dance but doing it with my music and being able to express my own vision at that moment takes that feeling to another dimension. 
My interest began with J.Miguez, with whom I started in the production and live performances world. Getting a configuration suitable for my needs was what took me longer, passing many synthesizers through my hands for many years.  
The pandemic gave me time to finish the machinery selection, with its learning and control process, deep knowledge and many courses. The clubs closed gave way to countless streamings, in addition to DJ sets, I performed several live online shows, which eased that newness for me. 
All of this, with many hours locked in my bunker, gave rise to Soul Lazh! 

-As an old-school advocate, your mission is to revolutionize the dance floors with your sound. How did you encounter the night in Gare?  

·Putting myself at the helm of the club that has given us so many good moments, named by great artists as one of the best in Europe, with that sound system by the aid of Phase Ctv, accompanied by artists with a prominent future and with friends on the dance floor made my visit a special one. 

-Which other has been memorable? 

·For their good work, great audience and treatment received, my first real performance at Cassete Club; together with Gare and Purveyance Day&Night at Apostol, unforgettable. 

-There’s general disagreement with the situation on today's dance floors, while you and your team have charted your course, Purveyance Community, a dedicated local scene with regular events, collabs, production masterclasses... What’s the prosperous secret? 

·Select artists based solely on their musical discourse and our criteria, respect artists and audiences alike. Offering different proposals while taking care of the details. Having committed and knowledgeable artists, and meeting such good people with similar ideas helped us achieve this.  
Our project is maintained thanks to all parties, and for us, the main driving force is the public, without everyone this wouldn't be possible.     
Despite the trends, I think we are in a good moment. We found an energy on the dancefloor I haven’t noticed in a long time. We hope a long life delivering quality techno in Santiago, while working on something bigger... 
Purveyance turns two years old this month, celebrating it next 23/12 with Falling Ethics's boss P.E.A.R.L., Anxiety for Living, Ultravioleta, and myself. 
 
-Nowadays, with technology so advanced, anyone can be producer and use presets. What are your essentials? Some advice to someone who wants to follow your steps? 

·Clearly, the machines management. I spend hours making patterns, looking for new sounds and creating sequences. It can take weeks to turn on my computer to record and edit a track. As advice: find a setup you feel comfortable with, lots of practice,courses...  Also, you will find good colleagues in gadgets world willing to help you.

With our next podcast we are happy to present our next dear friend from Wroclaw - Michał Macewicz - resident of the Ciało club, member of the Affekt Agency and the organizer of his own series of events "Selekcja Naturalna".

Michał Macewicz has been active as a DJ since 2006. He is a resident of the Ciało club in Wrocław. He has performed numerous times at festivals and events dedicated to electronic and experimental music. His sets are unpredictable, hypnotic and full of experiments. He does not follow trends, and the dense mixing style and selection of cool, emotional sounds influence the constant development of his unique style. It is impossible to list all the projects in which he actively participates. Michał is passionate about strong and perfect sound. He conducts training to expand awareness of sound and acoustics. From 2016 to 2023, one of the members of the SLAP collective, was responsible for providing unforgettable experiences through the excellent sound of the sound system and finding unique event venues. In 2022, he created the Sound Experience brand, where he designs audio installations in clubs and sophisticated places that focus on the best sound. At SE, he also works as an electronics technician servicing music equipment. Until 2023, a craftsman building pipe organs at Cynar Organy. His passion for electronic and organ music led him to collaborate and give concerts at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. Recently, it has expanded its activities with the SOUND EXPERIENCE SOUNDSYSTEM rental and started teaching DJing at Instytut Dźwięku in which he shares his knowledge and experience with young adepts.

Once again, we pay tribute to our artists on stage with Drop-E recorded set blowing up the opening of Prisma the 23/24 season, although with the bitterness that the club setting for this mix, does not have the same fate. In November, Prisma was forced to close its doors and unfortunately is going through a difficult situation.

We show this memorable Drop-E present and his emotional words dedicated to the collective that accompanied the artist's growth since 2016, hosting him on countless occasions along with great national and international artists, contributing to establishing his reputation and nurturing his artistic recognition in the city of Seville, accompanied by open-minded visionaries, and regulars of the most underground and avant-garde Andalusian scene.

"I want to express what I feel about the closing of Prisma with my last mix and these worthy words of gratitude for their effort and work offering a well-deserved electronic scene at the highest level all these years, since its beginnings and successive, including the warriors who have fought until now. Many thanks to everything that makes up Prisma, to the entire team, its promoters, to the great cast of local artists and to so many friends around the club, and to my followers and to the true fans of the techno genre itself, my words are also for you.

▸ Drop-E label boss of Signal is a DJ and techno producer from southern Spain, already well known for his releases on such labels as AINE (PoleGroup), Edit Select, Signal Rec, Modularz, Emphatic, Inducted Waves among others.

His style is quite peculiar and characteristic, moving between mostly abstract and very gloomy sounds, repetitive and tireless loops; atonal sequences where the presence of bass is noticeable from beginning to end. Obsessive and direct sequences to the central nervous system, hypnotism and depression joined hand in hand, falling in sharp frequencies and a constantly evolving structure make the perfect recipe for the dance floor where it is easy to end up out of control in a thrilling trip with no return ticket, not suitable for all audiences.

Drop-E brings us subbass heavy synthesized mess, obsesive compulsive sequences, sharpened hi-frequencies and a constantly evolving structure make the recipe. The tracks feels almost out of control, but this is a ride so thrilling you will never want to get off!
