Free Shelter invites the house extraordinaire, @inner-sense, for the 12th installment of their guest mix series on IDA Radio.

Based in Lille, with influences from both the shores of UK as well as the East-Coast of the US, Inner Sense has made a name for himself with his clear cut House selections. 

Known for putting the capital H in House, he started his own musical journey through the radio show by Dimitri (back then not known as the guy from Paris) in the early-90s. Via the radio show he got introduced to "classic underground dance music" as he puts it himself, mainly Garage House (nowadays known as just "classic" house). This then put him on journey through the likes of Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Tony Humphries, Sound Factory Bar, The Shelter, Masters At Work... well you get the jist; The godfathers of house so to say. 

Even though there are some bits and bops ideas for releases sometime in the future, we'll more than happy to settle for this amazing mix. A true journey through the landscapes of House that'll work perfect for the incoming summer.

George John is an undiscovered talent from Schweinfurt, Germany. He came on our radar about a year ago and when we heard his amazing talent for funky songwriting and production - we had no choice but to release his new EP: Personal Bars.

George's sound is characterised by his amazing skills on the piano as he studied Jazz from a young age. The 7 track EP is ride through his personal affiliations with Jazz, Funk, Electro and 80's Synth Wave. How familiar these genres may sound to you; George's sound is unique and unmatched in the electronic music industry. His tracks take you on a journey of groovy, melodic and harmonic sections; each track has about 4 or 5 of them - and bridges with the wildest solos played on his acoustic or Rhodes piano.
