From the composer: “Slowly Revealing” began as a solo piano piece, “Revealing,” inspired by the idea of meeting God or experiencing an awakening. This orchestral version reflects the meditative process of reaching that moment, with each layer unfolding gradually, as if drawing closer to a deeper understanding or presence.

From the composer: "Flow Thy Rocks" is inspired by the story of water flowing from a rock in the desert—a moment of divine provision and transformation. Written as a meditation, the piece reflects on how we can turn times of trial into sources of healing and sustenance. With rhythms and melodies that evoke both the arid stillness of the desert and the life-giving surge of flowing water, it is a tribute to the unexpected abundance that can emerge from trials of faith and perseverance. I've created this piece as a birthday present for my best friend. Happy birthday, Jami.

From the composer: "More Than We See" is a piece I composed during a trip through the Adirondacks, inspired by the stunning views of lakes nestled at the foot of towering mountains. The sense of mystery and the way nature's elements fit together influenced this composition, which unfolds in vignettes that blend into a unified whole, much like nature itself.

From the composer: I can see a cottage along the river, just by the bridge, during a foggy sunrise, as the family inside awakens for another day of the small dramas and quiet beauty that make life worth living. I wrote this piece with that kind of scene in mind, and I hope someone might consider it for the opening credits of a television series.

From the composer: "Don’t Fight the Apple" is about the pursuit of knowledge that isn’t easy to accept at first, but that ultimately brings peace. I wanted the music to feel a little uncomfortable yet intriguing, with the promise of clarity somewhere on the other side. I think of the tedious process of assembling a mandala, which I understand to symbolize the universe and the path to wisdom. I once watched monks create one, grain by grain. It required incredible patience. Then when it was complete, they let it go.
