The Sherman String Quartet No. 1 "The Romantic" Movements I & II were performed at Carnegie Mellon University on November 2nd, 2019.  This marks the premier of the string quartet's first movement titled "Andante agitato," which expresses the beauty found in the growth between two people in a romantic relationship.  When two individuals are completely different, it is in compromise that people become more trustworthy, understanding, and loving.  Therefore, conflicts and misunderstandings should not be brushed aside; they should be resolved and celebrated, as they bring the two lovers even closer than once before.  

The second movement was also included in this performance and the recording.  Please enjoy!
